Great show, I watched it way back when I was around 13-14 and now I’m 34 😂 Kind of wish he used Soujirou from that series, he was a kid who was traumatized as a child and taken in by Makoto. His kind stayed child-like but he was a cold blooded samurai with amazing skill but just laughed and had fun while cutting people down. But yeah, watch Samurai X Trust and betrayal, then start the anime. Really good stuff

the mummy character is from Rurouni Kenshin samurai anime. his Shishio Makoto the strongest villain in the entire series that Kenshin had to face as the main villain in the 2nd series. I love the elements of familiar nostalgic characters ARJ brings in sometimes. Takes me back to the childhood days where I watched Toonami at 9pm. My top 3 candidates for the last God of Destruction is Jiren himself, Broly from some other universe, or Black Frieza
