Ultra X Weapons Arcade

True to its name, the player(s) assumes the role of a jet fighter pilot from one of seven Earth Defense Force factions from the live-action installments of the Ultra Series at that time - SSP from Ultraman, TDF from Ultraseven, MAT from Return of Ultraman, TAC from Ultraman Ace, ZAT from Ultraman Taro, MAC from Ultraman Leo and UGM from Ultraman 80.
You have to fight and beat Kaiju and other Tokusatsu monster from the series. When alien invaders from all installments of the series begin invading en-masse, the player(s) will control each of their jets specialized in direct fire wih a sub-weapon.
These shots can be powered up multiple times and can reach large and impressive proportions.
But what makes these ships so nice in this game is their "smart bomb", their "Ultra X weapon"!
If you feel that you are going to be in trouble, call your hero to save you and he well be particularly effective: The Ultraman will appear and swing a special attack after an introductory iconic kitch mimic and your ship is invicible.
You have three lifes, If you lose it and continue, the Father of Ultra will show up and helpfully clear the screen of enemies before you respawn.
Seven Stages are Available:
Stage 1 - Japan (Ultraman's Stage) - BOSS: Alien Baltan
Stage 2 - United States (Ultraseven's Stage) - BOSS: King Joe
Stage 3 - Europe (Ultraman Jack's Stage) - BOSS: Bemstar
Stage 4 - China (Ultraman Ace's Stage) - BOSS: Vakishim
The first 4 stages can be played in any order the player prefers; however from Stage 5 onward the player will not be granted this option.
Stage 5 - Middle East (Ultraman Taro's Stage) - BOSS: Geran
Stage 6 - Asteroid Belt (Ultraman Leo's Stage) - BOSS: Nova
Stage 7 - Alien Base(Ultraman 80's Stage) - BOSS: Fire-Draco

Ultra X Weapons is 2D shump developed by SETA Corporation released by Banpresto (under Tsuburaya's Ultra Series brand) in January 1995. The game is known in Japan with the name Ultra Keibitai (Ultra Guards). This game is based on 'Ultraman', a famous Japanese live-action superhero series that has had numerous sequels and spin-offs since its debut in the 1960s. Generally, the main character is a normal human who uses an alien device to transform into a giant red-and-silver (sometimes with blue) creature called an Ultraman to combat alien monsters with the help of a special military team. When alien invaders from all installments of the series begin invading en-masse, players will control each of their jets, backed up by the Ultramen assisting the same faction from their respective shows.

This game seems to be running on the same engine as Twin Eagle II. Both games were developed by mostly the same team after all.
