My grandmother loved this song, and I love it too. She had alzheimer, but she always remembered this song. Whenever i played it, she would sing along. Sadly she passed away yesterday (21/8/24)..She was such a kind and pure soul.. This song is very close to my heart. Whenever I hear it, I'm reminded of her. This song is so close to my heart because this was my mother's favourite song and used to sing this as lullaby. After her death in 2021 I always come back here to listen and comfort myself. This is the reason I never saw this as a love song, this song felt like motherhood. A mother who is not ready to tell her children about life and death just comforts them with this as a lullaby not realising the foreshadowing and irony.

This movie was realesed in 1964 and i was born in 1994 but still in 2024 i use to listen 80's & 90's bollywood songs in my leisure time sometimes in my office or sometimes on the roof of my home at night.
