You can beat the Earthmover by jumping onto his face, waiting until he makes his attack, clip through textures, hit his brain and for some reason after that the brain starts slowly self-destructing I thought it was the intended solution to that challenge

for some reason, the Hidden boss at 7-1 also use the same rocket as you are meaning you can also freeze the rocket he fire and watch him blow himself up

I found this by accident but it's a shortcut the saves time some time in 7-2. For some reason the celling above the checkpoint were you would put the Red Scull has no collision. So, you can Jump or Rocket Ride through it go under the floor of the puzzle room and jump at it and it will teleport you to the puzzle room without needing the Red Scull.

In 7-2 you can stand inside the door with the 4 switches and it won't close, making that area easier

Spoilers for those who want to figure it out themselves (under construction new secret level hint) First off if you beat the secret encounter in 7-1 It'll give you a book that talks about there being a way out blocked by foliage, that only fire hot enough to melt metal could destroy. In 7-3 you'll find that door near the beginning where it says in blood "Feed us and we'll grow", instead of going left you need to go right but like I said it's blocked by foliage. Now if only there was somebody who had fire hot enough to melt metal... Melt you...

You can use a street cleaner to burn the vines, and that is *not* the alternative weapon location, that is the secret level that is also not finished. The alternative weapon is in 7-2. You have to find 3 slabs in the level. All are found through gates that are opened if you do the Hook Gate sections fast enough. The first one is after the intro right before the gutter man fight, don't go into the room, instead in the room prior with the stairs, notice the grate that's in the corner to the immediate right of the entrance, it will open if the first gate & second gate are open at the same time, just hit the first Hook Gate, run like hell to get the second hook, and if you did it right you should be able to get in the grate, head through the water and get the slab. If you mess this up, you have to reset the level since you can't get back to the first Hook. The second is in the section before the minecart. Hit the first Hook, hit the second quickly, and turn to the right to find a small opening, get in if you did it fast and hit the second slab. You can retry this as much as you like, just head through the initial door you killed the gutterman & Cerberus at to try again. The final one is before the nuke terminal. Hit the first 3 hooks, quickly get the set of 4 after and get in the grate to the left of the subsequent green hook. To get to the non-existent slab shotgun/rocket launcher/rail cannon, get to the top of the church where the 2 guttermen stop your cart, then hop in the hole on the right side of it to get nothing. The game remembers if you get the slabs even when you leave so you only need to beat each section once. Thank you, & goodnight.

Bro, for 7-2 i broke the challenge in order to bug the game for gates to stay open by killing them, opening, getting the car out and then going back to the checkpoint

7-2, there's an easier way to get into the final room for the puzzle, there's a little gap outside the train tunnel to the right ish of where you were at 1:45, you can slide into the terrain and get under the map and rocket jump into the area where the nuke blows up saving around a minute or so

A friend of mine and I found an different method for the 7-2 challenge. Didn't know u could blow up the top of the box and get the skull. But, you can kill the 2 tanks, grab the skull, and restart from checkpoint to keep the skull and 0 enemies killed. More out of the way compared to this method, but I thought id put it out there

you can cheese to get the third button when getting the nuke by just hitting the first 3 yellow orbs and doubling back up, ik thats not what this video about but just a tip

not sure how, but i managed to beat the last room with marked for death on the first try! that was exhilarating. for anyone struggling with it, pick up the double weapons powerup as soon as possible and stick near the tree. the tree will be naturally fed by all the enemies coming at you, which will take care of all the annoying blood mannequins quickly. past that, its just a matter of using guttermen and guttertanks as easy parry healthpacks imo

no secret exit yet sad... i think that book in with john is hinting at a fire sword we will get, probably is 7-4, OR at the under construction door somewhat near the start near one of the first orbs in 7-2 (but it feel like if we're gonna get a new weapon, its gonna be from a boss, not a random secret and that might just be a new variant? or alternate?)

1 month late here, the crystal makes so that the enemies from the level stop fighting to lock their target on you. thats why when you start the challenge the panel says " you're the star of the show now. baby!"

In the final room, there's a bunch of enemies, but they all fight each other including you. When you're marked for death, they ALL focus on you instead of each other. Basically makes it a whole lot harder.
