I for one did not understand how did the Cerberus and the two sentries die in 1:23. Did the Cerberus fall into the red? But I don't see the +SCRONGLED in the score. I got absolutely no clue about the sentries though.

@@Peashant2142 so, maurice makes a shockwave upon death which launches sentries upwards, which instakills them when cerbs are enraged, they can fall to their death after charging in that room +scrongled didnt appear because its a thing for the two halls

@@Peashant2142 yeah scrongled does not appear because its not specifically those pits where I scrongle the insurrs, i instakill the first cerb in blood room and then bait the other one to charge off the ledge which just kills it, also killing that maurice creates a shockwave when falling which instakills both sentries by launching them into the ceiling.

Any tips for the blood room? I can't grapple the stupid rocket for the life of me. Is there anything you do to make it more consistent or is it just practice.

@@suname8836 you could freeze the rocket before whipping it to yourself, also make sure that you kill the maurice in the 2nd section asap to get rid of those sentries with the shockwave

notable time loss is like 700ms on not pressing the 3rd button properly and like 2s because pano started firing mortars, any other timesaves would just be an optimization/change of strats

@@Westaxle the run looks perfect except the mindflayers, for some reason I just expect you to instakill them like it felt slow even tho it was basically perfect (not that related but I managed to instakill them one of them with the knucleblaster at the same time I broke the idol which is probably really rng based)

@@maxmelee1145 the instakill is basically rng you just gotta hope and pray that their cycles are aligned for you to instakill them both simultaneously but usually that is only possible rarely, also its even rarer but the shockwave from breaking one of the idols was enough to instakill them both before.

Using the glitch to kill Sisyphus first and then kill the rest of the enemies afterwards is considered timer manipulation and not allowed by the official speedrunning board. The time will still appear on the friend board though unfortunately. If I wanted I could get a 1:10 or perhaps faster rather easily with the same glitch.

I get this comment every now and then on my runs but basically I play my own music that obs doesn't record because while speedrunning I do hundreds of attempts and I leave music off usually when doing runs so I don't get burnt out on my favorite ultrakill osts, can be kinda overwhelming when you hear the ost so many times.
