新しい分には全然かまわないが。その当時の事を考えると、土曜の朝からやるにはあまりにも前半・姫矢編が鬱展開過ぎた。ただこれに関しては別プロダクション石ノ森プロのクウガも朝から残酷描写があったわけで、内容も確かに視聴層が子供というのを考えたら確かに問題もあったがネクサスの場合は内容よりも宣伝やスポンサー、おもちゃ関係等々の所謂大人の事情による影響が割合大きい。本来であれば姫矢編、憐編、コモン編と3パートの予定を一気に短縮したのもそれらの影響がある。ただ結果として短縮したおかげで物語の展開や最終回のコモンの変身が映えたのは確か。
