I watched this show as a boy in the 1970s. Now I'm almost 60 and I'm seeing these episodes again for the first time in 50 years. Some of it I remember, most of it I don't. I'm enjoying the nostalgia I get from revisiting this.

If you loved this show as a kid, the greatest line you waited for was "Using the Beta capsule, Hayata becomes ULTRAMAN!" Just like Clark Kent saying "This looks like a job for SUPERMAN!" You sat there watching the monster of the week completely destroying everything in it's path and saying "C'mon, Hayata! C'mon! Change! Kick it's @$$!" I'm 65 years old and STILL love this show like I did when I first saw it at the age of 12!

it has stood the test of time and it popularity has led to various spin-offs, films and new generation of heroes from the land of light
