I like to think Haruki’s courage to keep fighting and to even transform when he could die is why Z stepped up to fight since he was scared for himself BUT especially his partner and his friend. But seeing Haruki’s Ultra-spirit shine, he couldn’t help but want to fight too.

Main reason Z outperformed Trigger is Trigger is a new generation form of Tiga. Z isn't a new generation form of a previous ultra he is literally new generation. Though I like Trigger and got into ultraman tiga was brought to the us with a english dub. Decker may not be as good as Z cause he's a new form of Dyna. But I guess we will have to wait till July to find out.
