Out of seven elimination nominations that Elise survived, her surviving in Season 9 Episode 4 was the only one that she survived that I can somewhat understand as Chino was on his way out at that point having his third bad dinner service performance. Also, he was douche towards Natalie back in the dorms after the entire blue team got kicked out because of his mistake.

Chino was absolute DOGSHIT, bro. Just fucking useless-sucked as a waiter, horrible cook and it was clear he was arrogant and had a huge ego on him when it was rightfully pointed out how shit he was. He made Natalie (who’s a sweetheart) cry cause he read her help as disrespect and trash talked her over it cause he was in his feelings and was insecure about the fact that he sucked, and was just dead weight all around. Dude was fucking ASS.

Nah, big difference. Because unlike Rob, at least Elise kept her *word* on that one to Paul. She even said during the final service that she wasn’t bitter and wanted to see him win. True she was unable to keep her word to Will, but given the circumstances, how would she have been able to anyways? But yes, she lost. That was always a given.

Even though Boston Rob lost Survivor All-Stars final tribal, I'd say he still won overall. Married Amber after she won, became Jeff's favourite player, came back for Heroes vs Villains, came back for Redemption Island and won, came back as a mentor for Island of the Idols, came back for Winners at War. And competed on The Amazing Race twice. And all the recognition that comes with that.

You know, there's that show House Of Villains on E!, where they have various reality TV villains (like Tiffany "New York" Pollard, Jonny Fairplay and Richard Hatch from Survivor, Teresa Giudice, Kandy Muse from RuPaul's Drag Race, and Omarosa) compete in a show against each other. If that show gets renewed for a third season, they should consider casting Elise on it. I'd be excited to see how THAT would turn out!

Honestly...it was kind of a blast, given I knew how often I'd get a metaphorical backrub everytime Elise got laid into by ppl on this show. The only true painful part was the F11 of All-Stars, where Elise was front and center horrible with genuinely no stopping point. She was also a bit of that in S9E3 with Carrie, but at least arguably she got owned there as well simply by Carrie surviving. I didn't count that since that'd be a stretch for an own, but at least Elise didn't get the satisfaction.

No. Hate-watching is where you watch something *purely* to hate it. Which in my opinion is a horrible way to digest media. I don't watch Hell's Kitchen out of hate for any of it, I watch it because it is hugely entertaining in ways that I think are truly valuable. Whether in learning culinary skills or leadership/teamwork abilities. And Elise is a prime case of how a lack of the latter will result in 0 respect coming from your peers. That is worthwhile to watch.

Great video! Personally I dislike chefs that are actually bad people like Frank S15, Jason S4 and Matt S16 but I completely understand the hate for Elise. One recommendation is that the transitions are extremely loud and I kept having to turn my volume down at them but besides that, great vid!

Regarding Elise, Season 9 of is Hell's Kitchen is known for where the talent took a backseat to the drama. Especially with the season's bs eliminations with Season 9 Episode 11 and Season 9 Episode 14 being my least favorite and Elise surviving both times despite her worsening performances. Jennifer's elimination is infamous and is easily the worst elimination of the Season, but (even though she wasn't going to win the Season due to Paul and Will's dominance combined with her downward spiral) Natalie's elimination in Season 9 Episode 11 was the one that hurt the most. Amanda's elimination over Carrie in Season 9 Episode 3 would being a close third.

Came across another own not featured in this video. In Season 9 Episode 12 during the reward challenge, Ramsay calls out Elise's calamari for being undercooked and gives the win to the blue team. Elise starts to cry and Ramsay's makes fun of her crying again with his response boiling down to a sarcastic, "Aww, look at that face."

I wouldn't call every bit of just culinary criticism an own towards Elise, it was just objective feedback with no bite to it....BUT, upon revisiting that clip, yeah, him poking fun at her crying, even if just in a jesting manner, that should've been put in here, you're right. It's not even that harsh, but it does cement how much of a joke Elise is in that season.

Elise answers for her and then Amanda calls Elise out in a bit of frustration, even saying in her confessional, "I'm already getting yelled at by the Chef, why the f**k are you yelling at me? Let me cook the goddamn food!"

Again, just my opinion, but I don't think that's an own. Plus, it's not like Elise is in the wrong for trying to get Amanda into second gear, she *was* crumbling on that station, at no fault of Elise's (as far as we were shown at least). Do keep up the suggestions though, I love hearing them!
