Ultrasounds have high penetration power but still why they do reflect from metal block not penetrating their? 19:18
@MagnetBrainsEducation Жыл бұрын
Thanks for your question! Ultrasounds have high penetration power, but the energy of the sound waves is reflected when it hits a solid surface like a metal block. This is because metal is a good reflector of sound waves. We hope this answers your question!

@anirudhrana9106 Жыл бұрын
Please solve my doubt 🙏
@MagnetBrainsEducation Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment! You are correct - cracks in metals are not usually good reflectors of sound waves. However, where the metal is broken there may be places where the metal is not broken, and this can act as a reflector. Thanks for your observation!

But I have a doubt mam..u said that amniotic fluid is present outside the foetus that does not allow reflection of ultrasound ...then how will the baby's skin that is foetus will reflect it as it is present inside the amniotic fluid????
@MagnetBrainsEducation2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your thoughtful question! You are correct that the amniotic fluid is present outside the fetus, however, the ultrasound waves are able to penetrate the fluid and reflect off the baby's skin. In other words, the amniotic fluid does not block the ultrasound from reflecting off the fetus. We hope this helps!

Pitch Ans- How the brain interprets the frequency of an emitted sound is called it's pitch The faster the vibration of the source, the higher is the frequency and the higher it's pitch ma'am what does that mean
@MagnetBrainsEducation Жыл бұрын
Hi there! Thank you for your question. Pitch is the frequency of a sound that is perceived by the human ear. The higher the frequency of the sound, the higher the pitch. When a sound vibrates faster, the frequency is higher and so is the pitch. I hope this helps!

@MagnetBrainsEducation2 жыл бұрын
Hey there! That's a great question! Ultrasound waves are able to penetrate through the skin because they have a frequency range that is higher than that of sound waves. It's an amazing phenomenon that helps us to understand the inner workings of the body better. We hope you enjoyed the video!
