Thanks. I use the axiale / transverse view to mark the puncture zone . I actually do all my epidurals after ultrasound visualization. It works very well. Sometimes I do the para median approach when the inter spinous space is to narrow.

Hi, great video! 1 question: can you perform this technique alone or do you need an assistant? It seems difficult to advance the needle + put constant pressure on the syringe with 1 hand since you have to hold the echo probe in the other. Or is it possible? Thanks and greetings, Joris

You won’t see dural displacement in adults.just sutil dural sac movements. If local anesthetic is out of epidural esparce, local anesthetic will spread over lamina to superficial muscular structures.
