You're so lucky that you get to film your ultrasounds...... and that the ultrasound technician is such a kind and understanding woman for you~~ Sadly, for mine, I had asked my husband "do you think that you can take a photo or two if you're allowed?" and my ultrasound technician chewed into me for almost 5 minutes about how they don't allow cameras, how we will be kicked out of my appointment if he uses it, to give her our phones, again that they don't allow filming or photos, and then she would yell at my husband "NO. NO PHOTO. PHOTO BAD. NO HERE." like my Spanish speaking husband was stupid and didn't understand what the hell she had been saying at that point. My blood boiled the entire time that she was trying to get a picture, and she ended up yelling at me again because I was crying so hard and hiccuping that my tummy would jerk and she couldn't get a good picture. 47 minutes later and I had ended up spending the entire appointment crying, angry, and embarrassed, never once even saw my baby for the first time because she was blocking the screen with her body the entire time, and didn't end up getting any decent photos. When she told me that I was having a boy I didn't even care because I just wanted to go home, crawl into my bed, and cry for the next week and a half, all because I had spent literally 24 weeks of my life anticipating this one day, the day where I would see my baby for the first time and finally find out the gender, and she completely ruined that and took away my experience. ;(
