It equally applies to sons. However, from personal experience, I can attest to the fact that fathers share the purest form of love with their daughters. Their relationship is made in heaven.

Knowing gender is not sin. Terminating pregnancy because of gender is sin. In other countries people get to know gender before only but there's no discrimination. But even after so many years lakhs of people in India still want only boy baby. So we can't remove this law until people change their thinking

Thats not always accurate. I argued with my Doctor I kept telling him the baby was going to be a boy and he says the sonogram shows a girl I said your wrong. To bad he past away to see that he was wrong now my son is 30 and is in the Navy Reserves.
