VirtualBox was initially created by Innotek, a German company. Then Sun bought and developed it further.

It have never gonne, RISCs proccessor have been in the market for a long time and now are the architecture that most of the devices that we use are based, including smartphones and supercomputers

Kinda sad to see it nixed by Oracle before it could have seen its prime. They got a lot of stuff right from an architectural standpoint. Had they focused on small power efficient microprocessors like ARM did, we might have seen SPARC have a market in the mobile revolution.
