I loved this presentation. I know this area well, but as a hiker/scrambler. I follow the Ultra running community through a fascination with what individuals will put themselves through. I love the friendships and support that develop throughout these races.

Trail Running -100km distance - should be an elite Olympic sport. UTMB organisers should be pushing for it to becoming one. I mean its a joke when you have skateboarding, breakdancing and BMX bike riding yet an endurance sport like trail running isnt

I disagree. Trail and ultrarunning is a beautiful sport. But it's more. It's freedom, it's adventure, it's to be in the nature. Trail running as an olympic sport would be something bizzare. How do you do 100km race in Paris or Los Angeles? Also money will flow to "olympic distances" and other, for example shorter distances, would be neglected. It's not a sport like running, jumping or swimming that you can do in every country, so it's also a matter of fair competition and egality.

I disagree about the BMX and Skateboarding, I'm glad to see these accessable modern sports in the games, there are probally a few they could drop, like the prancy horse ones! I would love to see Ultra's top athletes get the recognition they deserve on the world stage, I'm not sure a 10 hour race makes great TV it may even be damaging to the sport, and there are other issues where there couldn't be a Olympic record as such but a Olympic FKT!

The Olympics have become far less important than they used to be. The silly sports, like bread dancing, and all the political garbage have damaged their importance. Some will obviously think otherwise, but that's the great thing about freedom! I really like that the UTMB does it's on thing!

Would it be too hard to get a real human to narrate the course overview. That AI voice butchered the place names. These AI voiceovers are terrible and honestly just embarrassing for an otherwise well produced video.
