I feel like the foundation shade is pretty good. it's just so full coverage that you've gotta bronze and blush the face to bring dimension back to your face. p.s. your eyes totally look like a pastel sunset on the ocean.

lifeguard007 I agree! I recently had an epiphany when i got Nars Siberia and it’s WAY lighter than what I usually wore, which was still the lightest shade in Pro Glow. But it looks so much better once I finish my bronzer/blush/highlight

Tried the samples of this foundation before they launched the new shade range and the closest matches I got off that were Shell & Porcelain. I adore the coverage, I mean 1 tiny sample pack was 2 applications for me but by the end of the day it really settled into the microsurfaces of my face. Someone here on KZbin (I forget who) says use it with no more than 2 drops of facial oil for dry skin and it drastically helps. Wouldn't know, have yet to try that as I haven't bitten the $ bullet. Did you try the Cover FX Power Play foundation and if so, how do the two compare in your opinion?

I know it might look different to us than it does to you in real life, but I thought the shade of the foundation looked good on you. I have that foundation and you have to go super light handed with it, it's extremely potent.

Carrie Aubin I agree. On camera, the shade match looks really good! I think sometimes on camera, when you say it's your perfect shade match, it always looks a little dark or orangey compared to your neck. Anyways, I think this looks great and I LOVE the eye look!

Bruh this foundation shade match is A+++ on camera. Also I think that Sin highlighter is too close to your skin tone to show up- I have that problem with MaryLoumanizer by the Balm. It’s just too close to skin tone to like even show up on my face lol. 😂

Kristi, I think the orange/pink color combo together on your eyes and lips is gorgeous! I know you didn't love it, but I think it came out beautifully and I'm inspired to grab my own palettes and see if I can create a similar shade blend. The Nyx liners, on the other hand, while cracking and crappy at the end... I think it was a really cool idea to do a dome liner and I'd love to see you try it again with a product you love. I admire your out-of-the-box approach to creating looks -- thank you for not being afraid to try new things AND show us, even when you're not 100% content with something!

I've been binge watching you and it's amazing what looks you come up with. I'm so glad Kathleen Lights recommended your channel. I love how you post videos about depression, and other things as well as makeup. As someone who suffers from depression it's great to hear that I'm not alone. I use makeup as my Outlet and as a way to try to convince myself that I'm not dealing with chronic pain and that I don't have health issues. The more elaborate my makeup usually the higher my pain level. I tell myself that if I look good then maybe people won't know how much pain I'm in. Thanks soooooooo much for allowing us to see more of what you deal with. I'm sorry that you go through some tough things.

The Jouer foundation is my jam! I use less than 1/2 of a pump for my entire face with a brush. When I pump it onto my hand I spray it with rose water to get it runny so that it doesn't dry so fast. I set it with a tiny bit of Lancome Absolue powder and I have the best luminous makeup that lasts 12+ hrs! When you order it they give you a sample of each shade as well. Loooovve it! My skin is normal to dry, you used far too much foundation!!

Kristi you should mix some cover fx liquid glow drops or some type of liquid glow or liquid highlight or even the backlight primer by Becca mix that with the foundation and maybe a little daytime mosturizer in with it and it would look beautiful Spray with a dewy spray before blending it all out too!

I like to add a few drops of facial oil to my full coverage matte foundations to stop it going crispy and sticking to my dry patches. I’ve found it makes my foundation last longer too
