Bit of info about Leafa's account: She has unlimited life (basically HP in the Underworld), meaning that if she takes damage, her life will automatically regenerate. However, this also means that no matter how much pain or damage is inflicted on her, she cannot 'die' and will remain in the Underworld.

Details that anime doesn´t explain so well but the light novel did: -Sinon is using the godess account from the Sun, called Solus. And Leafa is using the goddess of the earth, Terraria. -The main skill from Terraria´s account is the unlimited HP regeneration. It means that every damage is healed and is basically imposible that Leafa dies because his HP drops to zero. -Asuna and the Human Empire army uses the ruins to do a rotation front, like the raid bosses from the old Aincrad with healers behind. -Keep in mind Kirito is reacting to every people near to him, Asuna and Sinon. And Leafa if she saw him. -The goddess account Vecta has the power to manipulate the fluclights in the Underworld, and the imagine´s power from Gabriel is absorbing the other incarnations or powers from the Underworld people. -In the Light Novel Asuna receives a lot of wounds trying to protect the Underworld people, like a wound in the stomach because a spear and his arm is cut off again in the middle of the battle.

Forever annoyed A-1 turned yet another scene into sexual assault that wasn't originally. We should have een able to talk about Leafa's determination not to kill, or Lillipin breaking the Seal. All that gets ruined because torture wasn't extreme enough for the director.

When they just aired this episode it brought in a lot of hate due to the leafa scene like it is totally not necessary to show that hentai scene. spoilers: kirito will be back, eventually XD. This dude isn't going to let someone else be the main protag.

Ah, ANIMA, in my opinion, is the best of the SAO openings, and beat out both ADAMAS and Resister as my top OPs for the series. Also, it's very concerning that one of the more innocent characters in the series is the victim of the most sexualization/violation of the series. It did lead to a badass boast for Leafa, but fuck that wasn't something that I really wanted to experience when the show came back from hiatus. Asuna's stand against the IRL players was also amazing, and so was the reveal of Bercoulli's true capabilities. What we see in this and next episode really put into perspective how outmatched Eugeo and Kirito really were against the Commander during the first half of Alicization (I don't even think Kirito in his Yellow Eyes [as of this episode] mode could actually match up to the Time-Splitting Sword's Enhanced Armament/Release Recollection skills).

Dee Eye Ell is just absorbing (Terraria) Leafa's life, but Terraria can heal infinitely. Blame A-1 again for what it looks like it happening to Leafa. It's just a torture scene. Lilpilin is the third Underworlder to overcome the seal. Eugeo, Alice, Lilpilin.
