Civil engineer here!! The exact same thing happened to me. After 4 years of working as a water ressources engineer. I couldnt take it more. Still havent found my way out yet but hopefullly will do soon. Been learning programming these past two years.. and I love it!!

Man, I'm really looking forward to learning how to code. I had a 2.3 in high school and never considered myself "intelligent" enough to learn to code. So going into college I changed my major to Information Systems, which I regret, but I'm in my junior year and there's no going back. However, my university provides a 6-month coding boot camp that I am very excited to begin.

As a senior in Computer Science, I agree with all of your reasons. I love that you can code for a job and still use code to create your own personal projects unique to yourself. Not many careers offer that
