Ramadan isn’t just about not eating or drinking it’s about using the month to pray more get closer to God it’s a month of discipline and reflection and being with family People say Belal still fights difference is Belal still has a team who aren’t Muslim the Dagestanis are all Muslim so even if Umar wanted to train others may not want to be in camp with him during Ramadan Also the intense way these Dagestanis training grapple they won’t be able to keep that same intensity with no food or water. Plus if you get a cut or bleed it breaks your fast It’s hard for non Muslims especially Athiests to understand devotion to God is more important than money maybe their devotion to God is why they are so dominant
