Just make sure that you Americans learn other peoples' languages when you go to their countries too! That's the privilege, and arrogance of some Americans who focus on all of the wrong things. If he couldn't speak English, an interpreter is good enough. That is actually insulting to say "they're smart," it's similar to telling somebody black that they are "articulate." That shows true prejudice, and bias. It's not an anomaly that the fighters from Dagestan speak English, or that Black people speak English. That's what happens when you don't realize that every racial and ethnic group is monolithic, just like your community. The one thing I can say about them, and a lot of fighters from other countries, especially ethnic is that they are respectful of other people, and don't have this superiority complex, like some Americans.

@@bilalaldabagh I promise you no one will ever forget what Jon jones did (fighting every champ and dismantling them) or that khabib (never lost a round even when he fought the top guys). & yes you are right the political people will only care about them if they stood up for the political peoples beliefs But this is mma it’s not football no one is here to take a knee or sing the national anthem. Most people are there for the fighting not the personality. Just because khabib didn’t say anything about putin that he disagrees with doesn’t mean he’s cowering away and isn’t for the people. He’s got a family of his own to protect. The ufc is like an event you can just refrain from all the horrible stuff going on in the world and every race colour and person can just watch and enjoy and appreciate eachother. I don’t agree that they took the flags away (added them back now) but they were prioritizing the sport to be about the sport not about where you are from or what side of the political fence you fall on. I don’t fault people for not speaking on Ukraine or Palestine but I do commend the people who do. Kinda saying all this to say umar is going to be remembered as good man regardless if he chose to spoke on it or not. But he did because he is a man od the people but if he didn’t that doesn’t mean he doesn’t care about children losing lives or unjustified killing. He’s from a tough place himself we all know he knows the realities of this world.

Yeah, true. Plus he really had a great performance against a really dangerous young guy with really scary 1 punch ko power. He out lande his opponent over 140 strikes to 5, and the judges gived him two 10-8 rounds. And they scored it 30-25 which is very impressive for a 3 round fight. He made a mistake early and got hurt it was a flash knocked down, but immediately recovered and dominated the rest of the fight and absolutely tortured his opponent the rest the fight. He wasn't as hurt as some people (especially his hater) wants to make it out to be. He wasn't badly hurt like merab against marlon moraes for exemple. It was more like how petr yan got flash knocked down by John dodson,but immediately recovered and dominated the rest of the fight. Everybody who say he was almost knocked out are either dum, or just haters that which he had lost. It's the same story as when johnson landed 1 good right hand on khabib and all his ( singel digit lQ) haters were screaming everywhere that he was almost koed lol...

I saw almost all of Bekzat Almakhan mma fights even the ones who aren't counted on his record, and let me tell ya the guy is probably the biggest puncher at 135 right now, am not even exaggerating. Bekzat got really scary 1 punch ko power for a 135er. he got a very good chin too and he is also a tremendous athlete, explosive as hell when he is in bad position on the ground he is Abel to constantly explode out of those bad positions and end up on top. If he heals his leg injury properly he easily got the potential of becoming champion or at least challenge for a title 1 day. when the ufc gived o'malley fighters from outside the ufc they gived him punching bags like Chris motinios who can't even throw a punch. Even for khamzat the ufc was booking him with cans. but for umar the ufc gived him the biggest monster they could find lol. either the ufc had malicious intent behind booking this fight or its just that nobody wants to fight umar even the ones who aren't ranked and the ones outside the ufc. Which is dum from the ufc part because umar has massive ppv star potential perhaps more ppv potential out of everyone at 135, just from his last name alone (nurmagomedov) it gives his him a massive boost in star power, For example for this entire week of fights the interviews that did the biggest numbers by far out of everyone in (mma junkie) and other social media was umar nurmagomedov . And I bet this octagon interview will also have the biggest numbers too just like last time. He got a great personality, he has a similar funny humor that khabib had, he also got an existing fighting style . and the legendary last name of nurmagomedov which gived him millions of people following him in insta before he was even in the ufc. Also He definitely got charisma especially when he gets angry (reminds me of khabib lol) like in his last octagon interview after the barcelos fight when he called out everyone in the devision .....

I like to see him use his jab more next time like he usually does in all of his previous fights, it helps control the distance better. Never forget to use your jab and feints umar, khabib had a hell of a good jab too (and also a feint jab) which was one of the many reasons he was never knocked down in his career or even hurt. like khabib once said umar needs to work on his boxing so that it's on the same level as his kicks, and once he does that he will be a true elit. Also bring back the question mark and the bush kick you usually do in all of you fight , you are very good at using them. umar landed 152 strikes on bekzat, and he only got hit 7 times. And he got a 30-25 score card in a 3rd fight. those are some insane stats and a crazy dominant performance by umar not counting the mistake he did.... Honestly the cory sandhagen fight makes the most since, even tho I believe cory deserve to fight for the title more than vera since he already beat him, cory sandhagen isn't gonna get the title shot any time soon. Vera and o'maylegy are gonna fight and than next will be merab to get the title shot, and sandhegan can't sit on the side line for 15 month without a fight or making money. Plus umar is a guy with a massive name (the star power the name nurmagomedov had is a real thing ), and an undefeated record, sandhagen has a lot to gain by fighting him.......

And kaki told him "hey you need to shut up, nobody is protect from injury, you can't talk sht about injury, maybe it can happen to you too". And what do you, it actually did happen on their 4th booking of their fight to u injured himself by just walking (karma). Morality of the story, khabib is always right. The most funny thing is even tony was the one who pulled out from his injured leg he still talked sht on khabib on twitter as tho it was khabib who pulled out (tony is mental), and khabib told him "hey you need to shut up, you look like stupid guy on twitter" which was very funny.

I like Umar a lot, great humble guy for the sport, that being said I think Corey takes him out, Corey is lvling up so much each fight and his grappling is getting really really good

Umar is gonna learn from this fight as well. Yes Cory striking is much better but i don't think Cory will have very much for Umar in wrestling department

These Muslim fighters talking about Palestine and gaza are so commendable. You see any other ufc fighters talking about this? They are all scared to lose their jobs, sponsorship and money. These Muslims are real men, truly brave men, i wish everyone can be like this.

This fight just feels like Islam vs Arman in 2019 when Arman fough Islam on short notice and that too on his UFC debut ❤ Bezkat is a real deal 💯 Excited to see him here 🔥 Congratulations to Umar as well and hope to see him fight Top 10 next 👍
@joel-z9n8 ай бұрын
2 things I've always wondered about Arman v Islam. Everyone says it was short notice but why? Did someone cancel and who was it? And was it a catchweight fight? Because Arman looked like he had 20 pounds on Islam.
