on/off asa, 5"-6" braided air line, quick release, reducer adapter, hpa adapter, rail for asa, then your bottle

Fyi. If those Green balls are the riot balls , they are 5g balls Not 6g. I use them on my HDB and my HDX. They bore match rather well. So 544 fps is 68J or so.

I tested a 25g Co2 last night in my HDB, to see how it performed. 16j valve w valve block removed. 25g. Co2 in the hdb. No disk 7 shots total till it ran out 5g riot balls ( Hulk Green) 1. 456 fps. 48j 2 446 fps. 46 j 3 415. Fps. 40 j 4. 406 fps. 38 j 5. 400fps. 37 j 6. 378 fps. 33 j 7. 264 fps. 16j

What’s your recommendation for psi output for hpa for the hdx. Would love to see a video of the hdx with hpa video review!

The HDX does not do well with HPA. Its significantly better on C02. Ask the guys in the Forums.

@@dougbrodsky3745which forum website? Tried looking for it. Even if the hpa adapter is straight to the stock and not line powered? I would have thought more air output would make it more powerful.

hpa is right around the bend on this marker, as for now though, 88/90g co2 is the way to go, as you can see from the video 53 joules is great numbers for this marker

@@chicagolesslethal I have 1200psi hpa on my hdx and it's about the same as the 2x12gram co2 bottles but when I used my 20oz paintball co2 tank on it I was able to get 348 fps with a 9.9gram riot ball or 56 joules maximum but it's average is just over 50j. With the bigger co2 bottles the internals of the hdx seems to fill with some liquid co2 as well or instead of gaseous form co2 and because the liquid co2 has such a large expansion rate that that's what's giving the hdx more power on a large co2 bottle than with 1200psi hpa, that's about the only thing that explains why the hdx gets more power from the lower pressured co2 (900psi) tanks

So anyone know if the internal valve and propellant system is interchangeable between the hdb and the hdx? Or why exactly the hdb propellant system is so much more powerful than the one in the hdx? It must be possible for the hdx to do the same somehow eh?

Ok thanxx 4 visiting us here, great question, the hdb is more free flowing valve system whereas the hdx is shall we say more restricted somewhat, there is a brass air line and brass ring that restricts air flow, also the chamber can be hollowed out somewhat on hdx for more performance, stay tuned for the new upgrade
