I think the point is that there is no traditional safety, one that would need to be manipulated prior to firing. 👍

I really like that brand of ammo. I've found they're very consistent in size and weight which makes them a great bore match for the TR50. Have you looked into the Mercury Rise Torpedo Revolver? It looks just like the TR50 and uses all the same ammo plus a fin stablized round for higher accuracy at longer distances as well as double the powdered payload if you're allowed those.

A quick question or two. Do you have to be a member of a club to own this? (ERGO air/paintball etc etc) Can you use it in your garden for target practise? PS: There are so many rules/regulations in this country that i'm not sure where and what rules this HDR 50 comes in at/under.

There are no restrictions on owning or using airguns,rifles, paintball guns, or paintball rifles in the UK. You have to be 18 or above to purchase. And when using in your garden just make sure it's all taking place within your garden. Nothing escapes the boundary of your garden. If you do a search, you can find out the UK laws on ownership.

Yes... The problem is, in the UK, we, legally, can only have a max power for pistols of 7.5 Joules. If tempted to increase the power above 7.5 Joules we do so at our own risk. I have the umarex shotgun, which is 16 Joules, which is max in the UK for rifles, etc. Without a firearms license, that is.

I think you might wanna be careful with the weight of the ammo, cause with the 2.6g balls and at least 20 degrees temperature, you're going in the 8-9 joule range. From what I've seen, only the 1.06g balls keep it under 7.5 joules.
