Nevaeh Rodriguez my mom got belly hernia surgery this Monday night she's been at the hospital since Monday the doctor said she was going home today but the doctor said something about blood clots so they need to keep her there for more time I don't know how long but I hate seeing her at the hospital she did called me from the hospital she said she feels ok that they have her chicken soup she said she eat it also gelatin and banana I do hope she gets better soon and come home how long did you stayed at the hospital? Is it normal to be there for 3 days almost 4 days? Also are the blood clots normal? I'm so worry I don't know what to do I'm going nuts here at home they only let one family member there with her but they do let her take phone calls I call her 3 times a day just to see how she is doing she says ok I want hear her say I'm good feel good when she says that I'll be happy. 🥺✝️✝️✝️🙏

1st part was the umbilical hernia repair 2nd was tummy tuck or abdominalplasty in medical term and yes they do have to reconstruct the bellybutton.

I was operated laporoscopy a large patch and secured with plastic screws. Abdominal Hernia . What is it? No securing the muscles ?

The muscle/fascia was sutured to close the hernia. An umbilical hernia is usually small and doesn't require mesh.

@@ccoop3774 l was operated two times actually, first at 61 years of age, l have a huge belly, the surgeon did not consider my mass , operated cutting ( no laparoscopic) and placed a too small patch just secured with stitching, it seems, after one month the hernia resurfaced! Second time the surgeon placed a Davol with screws. It stays !!!!

Is it best to let a doctor repair an umbilical hernia during tummy tuck or have a general surgeon that specializes in hernias repair it before I undergo a tummy tuck? I don’t know how big it actually is. I was told by one cosmetic surgeon that if my hernia is bigger than the size of a quarter then he’s no able to fix.

I had my hernia repaired first and almost a year later had a tummy tuck. I’m five weeks post op. Some doctors will fix your hernia while doing the tummy tuck. Just need to ask them.

@@iidentifyasayoutubertoday7025 … I had my operation on March 10. It somehow attracted fluid (seroma) which can’t be drained for fear of introducing infection and perforating the mesh. So, it will be 12 weeks before things back to normal. Two uncomfortable things 1. You can’t do belt up properly 2. The hair growing back Arrhenius whisker stage is as painful as sunburn
