After a rather long pause, we proudly present the next Deck Tech by EDH Bobs on KZbin - a new channel, where we present decks and strategies for the EDH/Commander format. Also don't forget Ashiok Nightmare Muse as her +1 gives 2 3/3 blue red horrors that when they either block or attack opponent exiles 3 cards

Yeah, she is a flavor win and synergizes really well. We did cut her from the list (with a heavy heart) due to her comparably high mana cost allone. The deck was designed to be more or less as fast as possible due to a couple of playtesting results. Our opponents would basically always focus us down by turn 7 when playing a slower list, while we were able to take out at least one of them by that time, making it harder for them to take us out. But yeah, you are right, she protects herself and if no blocks are necessary we get a few exiled cards on top + a board presence, even without Umbris. Good call!

Thanks for a starting point in building my umbris, by any chance could you do an updated version, I made sure to add Bruvac to mine so whenever I mill they mill double 🤣

Woah, we are a bit tight on time right now, so there will probably not be an updated video. Right now we just try to get the next brew on the way :D Maybe an updated decklist at some point but I wouldn't bet on it. Bruvac works pretty good in the deck, the mill plan can actually be streamlined/focused even more. We tried to really balance it a bit more towards Voltron.
