YAMANDU COSTA
Guitarist and composer gaucho, Yamandú began studying guitar at the age of 7 with his father, Algacir Costa, leader of the group "The Border" and enhanced with Lúcio Yanel, Argentine musician living in Brazil. Presented for the first time at age 17 in Sao Paulo Cultural Circuit Bank of Brazil and from there came to be recognized as a musician revelation of Brazilian guitar.
Yamandú plays from crying and Brazilian classical music to milongas, tangos, zambas and chamamés. A guitarist and composer who does not fit into any musical current, it is a mixture of all styles and creates rare personality interpretations in his 7-string guitar.
He has come the most important stage in Brazil and the world, participating in major festivals and gatherings, winner of the most important awards of Brazilian music. In 2010, the CD Light of Dawn with Hamilton de Holanda was nominated for a Latin Grammy. In 2012 Cuba won in the International Prize Cubadisco by Mafua CD and a mention of the ALBA Prize for Read CD.
NELSON FARIA
One of the most expressive Brazilian musicians, Nelson Faria carries in his musical luggage recorded 12 CDs, eight books - two of them with issues in the US, Japan and Italy - a DVD with the group Our Trio and video class Master Touch. In addition, participating as a musician, arranger and / or producer on more than 200 CDs of various national and international artists. Also signs the guitar model Condor Nelson Faria Signature (JNF-1), developed by the artist in partnership with the renowned factory instruments.
Among artists with whom he shared stages and studios stand out João Bosco, Cassia Eller, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Ivan Lins, Till Broenner, Zélia Duncan, Ana Carolina, Milton Nascimento, Toninho Horta, Tim Maia, Leila Pinheiro, Nico Assumpção, Gilson Peranzzetta , Paulo Moura, Wagner Tiso, Edu Lobo, Fátima Guedes, Karolina Vucidolac, Josee Konning, Lisa Ono, Baby Brazil, Pascoal Meirelles, Antonio Adolfo, Nivaldo Ornelas, Mauro Senise, Maurício Einhorn and many others. In his career, he builds presentations in Brazil and in more than 30 countries worldwide.
Currently, Nelson Faria also serves as a professor at the University of Örebro, Sweden, and work alongside the most important bigbands in Europe and the US as arranger and soloist. Since March 2015, is also host of "A coffee at home," posted on the web.
