True,his sets always have that pounding, doesn’t matter whether his track or someone else’s track. The kick is always hard and present. He really is a kick guy. Also he was first DJ and then producer, so he knew from the get go what works on the dance floor and it shows, his kicks are always huge, because it just works.

Umek has really transformed his sound in a good way, as he once said in an interview, he reshapes his sound every few years, and he really nailed it this time. The tracks are hard(❤️ techno) and have depth and complexity. Great sweet kick/bass, great synth lines, breakdowns, drops, everything that the modern electronic music has to have.
