I think now I understand why Kinzo praised her: she literally has made the Uhiromiya name both her identity and life, in a way that non of Kinzo's children or grandchildren have.

Man this second arc has been great for building up characters that I liked, sure, but didn't LOVE in the first arc. Jessica stocks went through the roof this episode! Kanon got some good layers added too. I like that it didn't go smoothly for them like Shannon and George have been. All this is going to make it hurt that much harder when we get back to murder mystery time...

I agree with some other comments. This is still kinda enjoyable but it feels like a slice of life spinoff. I understand that character development is necessary but compared to the ending of the first episode the contrast is jarring. Hopefully the mistery parts come back soon!

I remember ages ago some video on here, if it even still exists, had people saying they really want her shirt whether or not they commented about anything else in the scene, the characters, the song, or the show itself and stuff, ha ha. Dude, at this point, if Umineko becomes anything like Higurashi and their can be genuine human villains too, I'm honestly terrified that Jessica is going to be a mix of Mion/Shion and your classic "Green Eyed Monster/Yandere", make a wish with one of the witches like Beatrice, or maybe even another one to compete with Beatrice, and kill George and/or Shannon, with the witches sitting back and treating everything as a game. ._. Like... Jessica isn't going to get so heartbroken from wanting a boyfriend that she becomes a villain in this arc, is she? D: Nooo... Jessica. T_T
