SPOILERS I just now realized I think why Beatrice was afraid of this move was because it risked exposing her “heart” and the truth of the game and the culprit.

The earlier episodes are usually a slog to go through once you've finished the entire series, but Eva's Red Web is such a goldmine to go through once you know the truth of all games. It really is as every bit as dangerous of a move as Beatrice says here- genuinely, at that, even beyond her wounded gazelle gambit schtick against Battler throughout this entire game.

3:12:46 i was enjoying umineko already, but this moment and the facial expressions on beatrice completely changed everything to me going forward. the pause and slight stutter, the delivery on the following lines is perfect. its probably the moment where i really fell in love with the characters and had new respect for the author
