Finnish rock and metal - THIS is what we want from Suomi!🖤🤘🇫🇮 As someone who wanted Lord of the Lost to win last year, I will say: Finland, send this total banger to Eurovision - we need alternative genres and diversity on the big stage, not only pop music! But I'm very confident the Finnish public will love Cyan Kicks too, as Finland is undoubtedly the home of rock and metal in the world.🖤🤘 How can someone not fall in love with this? The chorus is a melodic seduction, the guitars are hitting hard, the band looks hot as f*ck - I will be mad if this thunderstorm, this "hurricane", wouldn't be chosen for Malmö!🤍❄️✨️

Well after first listen i thought this is very good but something was missing but won’t lie i think this one gets better after every listen👏 Only concern i would have is i feel Hurricane was more immediate for me at least, it’s still very high quality tho and sets the benchmark for the rest of the UMK songs to hit💯

As someone who likes this genre this was as immediate as Hurricane, but I agree that Hurricane was more immediate to a wider swath of people

Not feeling this one as much as 'Hurricane' which was one I really did love. Feel this is perhaps a little bit too much towards the 'rock' end of 'rock-pop' for my own personal tastes. But it has grown on me through editing my video, so that is a good thing. Plus I am sure they will bring a great live performance like they did with 'Hurricane', so looking forward to that. I just kinda feel like 'Hurricane' had slightly more general appeal to the masses than perhaps this will. But it's a good start to UMK for sure.

They ride that fine line between being accessible and being authentic to their genre. I agree that this feels skewed more towards the rock side but personally I love love it! And it still feels accessible enough that with a few listens (as you said) others can get on board

Hurricane was better in my opinion. Yle got scared last year cause the win was so close and now they chose really weird selection of artists that we surely doesn't win. Where's the variation? For few years there has been something for everyone, not this time. I was waiting as good song as Hurricane was and got disappointed. About the other performers. I never listen them, I don't like their style of music. I do listen radio daily and if I ever hear their songs I switch channel. Those are probably chosen that they can fill the big UMK show arena and pay YLE's bill. Actually I'm really happy now that I didn't get tickets to UMK :) This year it's a wonder if Finland is among the 10 best. Surely I'm also glad to be wrong :)

This is the kind of stuff i dont care for AT ALL... Like it doesn't even hit hard with that pop vocal and cheesy chorus. Basic. Arcadia from Magara was more up my alley
