I think the aura's breaking in two hits has more to do with the fact they've been fighting for like 48 hours straight more so than the hound being strong

@@Stormthorn67 I am pretty sure that Summer is alive, to a certain degree, in Salem’s realm. Being experimented on and maybe somewhat grimmified. They keep bringing Summer up so it seems like they are going to find her, whether she is alive, grimm, or dead is the question.

If Raven would be here, she could have used her portals to maybe summon more forces for the gang by using this place as an anchor but then again she would need to meet the other forces- However I dont think its her. Is that not a crow? Remmeber Qrow can to transform inot a bird. So I feel that is Qrow and not Raven.

I swear everyone forgets Qrow can turn into a bird just like Raven can. Cause like why the hell would Raven be there if Cinder was the one who caused the explosion. Also Qrow probably transformed in order to avoid the rubble so yeah Raven wasn’t in that scene. Will she come to Atlas, maybe. But as of right now, she is not present.

@@cavankelly3361 I did consider this possibility, but we clearly see Qrow sitting in his cell a quarter of a second before the crow/raven appears, so I think it's fine to speculate about this bird being Raven instead of Qrow. Tai did watch Ruby's call for help on TV, and Raven is shown to have visited Tai in the scene after the credits of Volume 5's final episode. I don't think Tai will sit idly knowing his daughters need help. I'm sure he left for Atlas as soon as the video ended, and I believe Raven is still at Tai's place and will join him on his trip to Atlas. Alternatively, Raven may have returned to her tribe after talking to Tai, who might know where to find her. He could've returned to her to ask for her help on his way to Atlas. Of course, the next episodes might prove me wrong. Let's wait and see.

@@AngryAnimeFan2 Good point regarding the portal. That said, she could've chosen to avoid using her portals. Waiting to enter the prison in the form of a bird instead of teleporting inside makes sense if you want to know what to expect once you make it inside. Raven could then know what's the best way out-the path of least resistance-, thanks to what she saw in her way inside while in bird form. Regarding her tribe, I don't think they'll join Raven in a fight to help her daughter. The members of the tribe would probably see this as a suicide mission. Raven did her best to avoid facing Salem in the past, so I don't think the members of her tribe would be thrilled with such a sudden change of attitude. As I explained in my reply to Cavan Kelly, the next episodes might prove me wrong. We'll soon find out, I guess.

Btw the reason the Hound was chasing them is because he is blind. He was using Penny’s sent to find her and they were covered in her leakage.

I think it can see. It's just tracking by scent. It picked up Rwby and chased the others because they smelled like Penny, and it didn't know what Penny looked like. The way it can dodge attacks and move around means it can sense things other than just smell, even if smell is its primary sense.

@@bskec2177 It literally doesn’t have eyes. He just has really heightened smell and hearing. If you go back to Ch 2 when he is retrieving Oscar Ren picks up his guns and the Hound hears it and turns around before he can even point them at him.

@@tristianjones8915 It's possible. I've just heard so many "this RWBY character is blind" theories, I've grown tired of them. I just don't think it could move around as quickly and quietly as it does if it's only moving on scent and echolocation. It spends a lot of time not making any noise at all, moving through unfamiliar environments. I think it can see, if poorly. And the guy inside definitely has at least one eye.

@@bskec2177 It’s not a theory if it’s reality. The guy inside might have eyes but the Hound doesn’t. Plenty of real world animals are blind and move around fine. In this fictional universe is it really that unbelievable?

One thing I noticed, up to the point of this chapter anyway is that the only time Ruby has been able to use her silver eyes power on purpose without effort or shock, was when Penny's life was in danger. You saw it in the last chapter of Volume 7 when Cinder was in the room with Penny right after Penny got the Winter Maiden powers, and then in this chapter when the Hound was threatening Penny with the claw across the throat gesture. All of the other uses have either been shock or with concentration. I think that really shows the protective nature and friendship of Ruby and Penny. Not sure if that's cannon or not, I don't do all the deep dive stuff, I just like the show, lol. Also Penny has been my favorite character since she showed up :)

18:51 POSSIBLE SPOILERS WILL FOLLOW No, indeed not Adam. Different horns. Although the horns could actually be those white things protruding from the bodies of many Grimm instead. They look too symmetrical to be anything but horns. As for the identity of that poor guy, it could be any Faunus/Human (if not horns) that was captured by Salem. And yes, he's a Silver-Eyed warrior. Bad, bad news.

Also Adam did not have silver-eyes. I think he had blue eys. And this Fauna had ears, Adam had horn. Not ot mention it was not even the same voice actor. So it cannot have been him. Could Salem have foudn hsi corpse and turned Adam into a diffrent Grimm? Now that would be haunting, but it would not be traumatising. What would be trauma, is if she has done this to Summer.

People kept saying it was Adam which you have already stated the eyes and the faunus features are different but also remember that his SDC scar was over his left eye while the faunus here has a large scar on the right side of his face.

@@thelast5warriorsoftheworld546 Sorry, but that’s incorrect. If you notice there are no particles flying off when she’s hit into the piano, she just recoils from the impact. Also, she immediately starts using her Semblance to fire her glyphs at The Hound as it creeps away. If her Aura had broken, she would not have been able to do this.
