Nicht Özkan sondern Özcan, wird Özdchan ausgesprochen. Ähnlich wie Jackie Chan, nur das a wird nicht gezogen. Es gibt die sogenannten Altay Türken, gibt zahlreiche Turkvolker in Sibirien, jedoch gehört das Territorium offiziell Russland, manche Regionen haben jedoch Autonomie, Andere nicht und Andere Turkvolker wie Kasachstan, Uzbekistan, Türkmenistan, Kirgistan, Aserbaidschan, die Türkei die einen unabhängigen Staat haben. Auch die Mongolei macht solche Musik / Sounds, der Name des männlichen Sängers ist zumindest türkisch^^ Ich finde es toll das die Kunst und die Natur miteinander verschmelzen, wirkt auch etwas vom Sound mystisch und energisch mit positiven Vibes. Im Endeffekt sind wir auch ein Teil der Natur. Ab 4:55 könnte man einen harten Dupstep Track machen Danke das du drauf reagiert hast, wäre alleine nicht drauf gekommen.

Hier trafen sich Künstler zweier Turkstämme, um mit alten türkischen Instrumenten türkische Musik zu machen. Ich bin türkischer Abstammung und verstehe fast alles, was Ummet Özcan singt. Er singt über Gottheiten aus der türkischen Mythologie, als die Turkvölker noch Shamanen waren. Hier wird ein sehr altes Dialekt benutzt, ähnlich wie Plattdeutsch. Ich verstehe auch einige Wörter, die Otyken-Mitglieder singen, wie zum Beispiel „dağlar“ (Berge). Obwohl sich beide Stämme im Laufe der Jahrtausende geografisch und sprachlich voneinander entfernt haben, haben Ihre Sprachen dennoch denselben Ursprung nämlich türkisch. Beide Völker teilen, wie alle Türkvölker, das gleiche mythologische und kulturelle Erbe. Die Instrumente, die hier gespielt werden, sind allen Turkvölkern bekannt, wie zum Beispiel das „ikili“, das sich auf die Zahl 2 (iki in Türkei türkisch) bezieht, weil das Instrument zwei Saiten hat. Die türkische Bağlama/Saz ähnelt der Ikili, hat aber 6 - 7 Saiten. Das Gebiet um das Altai-Gebirge in der heutigen Russland ist die ursprüngliche Heimat vieler türkischer Stämme und Otyken (Ötüken) ist das legendäre uralte erste Capitol aller Turkvölker und dieses Gebiet ist für uns heilig. Großer Bereich des Zentral- und Nordasiatischen Kontinents ist der ursprüngliche Heimat aller türkischen Stämme. Einige dieser Stämme sind vor tausenden von Jahren, als die Beringstraße noch vereist war, nach Nordamerika gewandert und dort ansässigen geworden. Es sind die Vorfahren viele indigenen Stämme in Amerika, was auch DNA Analysen belegen. Diese Stämme und Clans haben lange lange vor Columbus Amerika entdeckt. Die Art, wie Özcan singt, wird Kehlkopfgesang genannt und ist eine traditionelle Gesangsart bei den türkischen und mongolischen Völkern der Asiatischen Steppe. Hier sind die Namen einiger Göttinnen und Götter, über die Özcan singt: * Tengri = Himmelsgott. Er ist der Schöpfer von allem. Tengri war der Hauptgott des türkischen Pantheons, der die Himmelssphäre kontrollierte. * Kayra oder Kaira = Höchster Gott des Universums * Adaghan = Berggott. "Ülgen oder Ulgen = Gott der Güte. Kayras Sohn. * Mergen = Gott der Weisheit. Kayras Sohn. * Kyzaghan/Kızagan = Kriegsgott der * Umay = Göttin der Fruchtbarkeit. * Kuara = Gott des Donners * Kubai/Kübey = Göttin der Geburt und Kinder. Es schützt Frauen, die gebären. Sie gibt Kindern Seele. * Koyash/Kuyaş = Sonnengott. * Ak Ana = (Ak bedeutet Weiß) Göttin der Schöpfung. Sie ist die ursprüngliche Schöpfergöttin des türkischen Volkes. Sie ist als Göttin des Wassers bekannt. * Ay Ata = Gott des Mondes. * Gun Ana/Gün Ana = Göttin der Sonne. * Yel Ana = Göttin des Windes * Yer Ata = Gott der Erde (Wie man merkt, herrschte bei den Ur-Turken eher das Matriarchat vor)

I researched Otyken Altay and they are incredible. I am so curious to know whether those born there are descendents of the Kahnate. Genghis' daughters were married and helped rule the kingdom. Or possibly even there is a Hun connection somewhere. But they have a deep connection with the Almighty.

Ummet Özcan is a great Turkish musician and otykrn’s band members are Siberian Turks. This music was created entirely with Turkish culture. Old Turkish instruments and the throat technique used. I was surprised how much Russians loved the song, which emerged after years of trying to destroy this culture.

Actually, I want to correct your misconceptions. Ümmet Özcan is just a Turk currently living in the Netherlands. He's not Dutch. Ötüken is the ancient Turkish city that became the capital of the Turks and now lies within the borders of Mongolia. There is also a Goddess with the same name in Turkish mythology. Goddess of abundance .Altai is the name of the song. Again, it is the name of a very important region for the Turks. They even claim that Turks were seen around these mountains for the first time.By the way, the girls in the Otyken group are also Saka Turks. Today, unfortunately, they live as an autonomous republic affiliated with Russia.

Also, i wud like to add, that this band is very unique. Their sound alone is very addicting. Cant stop listening! Vocalizations are incredible. If u have ever noticed, they mimic a lot of animal sounds to their songs. U will hear it. I love Ummet! Very talented, happy guy! Love his music, as well. Otyken has the right lyrics, as well! They are not singing about unimportant things. Msgs that can be relayed to the ppl. Dancing to this music is the best! U can lose urself!😂❤😂❤

@@borishavin2637 Yeah sure although Turkish and Turkic words are same in the meaning, Turkish refers to people of Turkiye while Turkic refers to all Turk. Anyways, it's ok for both Russians and Turks to embrace and praise the band Otyken. It exists to protect a Turkic folklore but wouldn't have happened without the Russian founder Andrey Medonos. Thanks to the band, remaining Chulym tribe and rest of Siberians are probably more willing to preserve their native tongue and culture.

I completely agree with your perspective,,, I've been watching Otyken videos since the first one "Storm" found me... That's about 2 or more years. I've watched nearly everything they have made... Anyway, here in Canada, I have a lot of indigenous friends and I show them Otyken videos whenever they come to visit. I have Native friends who request I play them, despite, like me, not knowing a word they are saying (singing). I don't know any Russian or their native language and don't feel that I need to. I ask my native friends if they recognize any part of Otyken's language... It's always a "No". However, we all find their music Very Spiritual. As such, no one needs to know the language. The Universe speaks no human language. It speaks to our hearts. We are blessed, who can feel what the Universe is telling us... Thanks for you review. I'm so happy the Universe gifted you with their music 🙂

You're right, there are enough stereotypes everywhere. There are 190 nationalities living in Russia. With its own language, religion, culture and traditions. Russian is a common international language, but each nation has its own language. They all look different, white, swarthy. With different eye cuts, eye color and hair color. All these peoples inhabiting Russia are not migrants. They have been living in this area for centuries.. This is their homeland. And they love Russia more than some ethnic Russians.

Ummet is already a big, established DJ and producer---you can find a lot of his stuff on the web. Otyken are just blowing up. This collaboration was done remotely with them a thousand miles apart. Otyken are a group from remote central Siberia. They are all members of small tribes (Chulym, Ket, Selkup, Tuvan, etc.) who speak historically related Turkic languages. There are just over 200 native speakers of the Chulym language left in the world. Like other tribes in the region, they were decimated by centuries of invasion and war, and more recently by the rampant environmental destruction starting in the Soviet era. They play authentic traditional instruments, made by the band-members and their families. The artists also sew their own costumes. These are based on traditional indigenous outfits, but incorporate attributes of several Siberian tribes at once. They want to be ambassadors for all of the indigenous people of the region. Their instruments include: ikili (a two-stringed bowed instrument used in Siberia, similar to the Mongolian morin khuur); khomys (jew’s harp, also known as “jaw harp”); rattles similar to maracas and tambourines; a local variant of the mandolin; and several kinds of drums, as well as modern electric bass guitar and electronic keyboard/synthesizer. They occasionally play a saxophone they found abandoned in the forest near one of their villages. My favorite description of their ikili is “You look like someone who no one should mess with because your instrument was made out of a freakin’ BEAST!” Otyken incorporate throat singing and chanting into their vocals, as well as imitating wild animal sounds and bird calls. When they were founded, they started off doing straight-up folk music. When they began to add a fusion of folk with modern rock sounds, they found themselves attracting fans from all over the world. They have also become a symbol and a rallying point for indigenous people all over the world who have suffered the same kind of fate-guests in their own land. They are fully aware that their language and culture are dying. Part of their purpose in performing and recording their music is to leave behind a record of their culture before it is gone. Their manager and producer is a Russian who is sympathetic to their history. Through these performances, they are getting their story out to the world. To date, they have released tracks mainly in Chulym, but also in Khakass, a related tribal language, and one song in Russian, addressed to the people who took their land. As they say in “Paradise Lost”: “The land is yours now, but the sky is ours.”
