Please don't say such things. Music is not haram. Music has benefits. Don't blindly listen to the salafi scholars . They only think music is only used in rap,pop etc. They only can think about movie music. What about a child who is learning alphabets and rhymes. There is music there. And if there is no music how would child can learn rhymes because children needs some type of entertainment. And also people should know that baby will soon fell asleep after hearing music. Music increases sleep capacity, music helps to balance blood pressure and also certain disorder such as anxiety, phonophobia can be cured by music. Yes music can be quite distracting. But the rock music which shows messages swearing, alcohol and meanings against Islam are haram and should be avoided. But children while learning needs some type of music
