(stormkuma vs morridoom) no character matchup is unbeatable, there´s no such thing, and storm is a really fast character, a lot faster than doom, and a bit faster than morrigan (i know because my best is morrigan since marvel 1, and i have played against people whose best is storm since marvel 2), and storm has greater reach; they are both really nice players, but this wasnt the best match.

Man, there was alot of Chris G vs J wong over the years, but this must be one of the best yet, if not the best. Never once in Marvel history were these two neck and neck, usually J Wong had trouble closing in, needs to play anchor Akuma/Storm and catch the happy birthdays. J wong usually pull through in major tournaments, but struggle to win against Chris G in small ones. It was great to see that in 5 rounds, it feels as though it was a fair game between 2 great players.

***** Probably because you don't know the game, that's all. This DEFINITELY ain't for mashers or you'll get mopped up. I do think because a lot of people enjoy the game, there's a heavy abundance of scrubs. But that's fine because they get weeded out quickly by real competitors. If you know the game well, you can distinguish some high level play from just chaotic BS. Execution at a high level is required for this game, as is having a deep knowledge of game mechanics. And against the right players you'll probably lose 100% of your health with one touch. lol Every player has their play style but if your reflexes aren't godlike this probably isn't the game for you (not you specifically, just generally speaking) because you've got to be able to react to a lot of this shit almost instantly unlike other games that give you much larger windows.

TLDR for those who don't understand shit about whats going on: Most of the time Chris tries to keep justing at bay with morrigan and doom's projectiles, while switching to rushdown with virgil. Wong tries to counter that by using Storm's zoning tools and chipping him out with ice stortms, which he also uses to catch an assist trying to come out since it hits full screen. Aside from this, any time they can get a clean hit they combo their oponent as long as they can, so just enjoy the crazy combos, believe me some of them are really hard to pull off :)

It's not as easy to find anymore but you can definitely still find it without looking too hard here in the states. I'm not sure if there would be a conversion issue involved with trying to play a US game in a foreign country.

Wolv can deal morrigan easily but doom assist is the problem. Even u defeat morrigan u still have Vergil in line. Best bet to deal with is Vergil himself. Recently Chris g is improving with his overall team so he won't be helpless without morrigan .

My take on this match, which I bet a lot of people won't like hearing, but even as a long-time ChrisG fan, JWong gave this one to Chris. He knew how badly Chris wanted an EVO win (being the only one of the three gods without an EVO win), and Justin already got the title two years prior to this. This was honestly Chris' last shot at winning the title as the game was mostly dying off and withering away from the FG scene at this point, if it hadn't already. At 9:18 you could see clearly, Justin backing off as Akuma for no reason. Caster says 'playing it safe' at that point, but c'mon... it's freakin' Morrigan. Watch JWong's Akuma comebacks back in EVO 2013 against Flocker and no way is he giving any breathing room against incoming characters there. Definitely not complaining though, it's really nice to see this kind of friendship in the FGC especially amongst the best players of the game. But the hunger for the title during this time was just not the same two or three years before this. I love Chris, but he completely choked at EVO 2013, that title was really his for the grabs... he was just so dominant at that point. He made a lot of silly mistakes like picking Magneto over Vergil and losing to a random Jill player of all people. If he stayed in Winner's bracket going into Top 8, it would have been easy and he wouldn't even have to face Justin (assuming Flocker still beat Justin to move into GF). To be fair though, the FGC was really doing everything they can to get under his skin during that time because of his play style and just how dominant it was, and I think it sort of got to him.
