I know your comment is a little old, but I'm assuming that you're talking about the first game where ShadyK kept DHCing all the way to Vergil. If I had to guess, I would say he did that because he dropped that Wolverine combo. Both Fatal Claw and finger lasers are easily punishable at that range. He probably didn't want to chance a character getting killed off and then having to guess on the incoming mixup.

Vergil has really low health, and I 'think' Fatal Claw does more damage than most supers

i really dont get it... is it really worth it keep spending all that meter just chip the opponent out and put them in blockstrings? it looks as if doesnt do anything much
