@1shoryuken It's because the red life went away when Magneto was tagged in. The game still reads the red life as still there for Perfect purposes as Iron Fist was never hurt when not on point.

@timaius only certain moves can be jump cancellable. for example, tron's forward M, (the gustaff fire) is jump cancellable. to do it, you just hold up once the move comes out. or up right or up left.

@madskilliz You can jump cancel (hold up while doing S to jump after the person) right? So what you do is cancel the jump into a special move. So what you do is this (for example if you were cancelling into a move that is a quarter circle forward)... Down, Down-forward, Forward, Up-forward, then an attack. Hope this helped.

@flatboy13 I don't remember it being claimed anywhere that it was removed. Capcom probably left it alone since that particular infinite is reliant on 2 up TACs and Chun's team losing a team member.

@DavisFGC He never go hit, he just lost the red health by switching characters. It's a perfect if you don't get hit, not if you finish will all health. I know it's not the BEST perfect mechanic, but it is like in in Marvel Vs Capcom 3.

@TheDastard whats to fix its better to have the top screen infinite instead of the d-M air fierce infinite the top screen one is way less likely to happen cause of the air exchange most if not all players mash out up S unless the whole match you train the player to mash out either down of left S then you deserve the infinite

I've dedicated my Vanilla team around Tron, and after practicing in Ultimate for a bit, I've dropped her completely :c I don't feel like she's a completely useless character, as she does a pretty decent damage output still, but I can't get any combos down with her :S

@theunpopulartruth99 well the point i was trying to make is why fix an infinite thats so impractical the only way Chun can get her infinite is if you air exchange twice and both have to be an up air exchange and on top of that your second character has to have a double jump like viper, joe, trish etc. i was saying it seem stupid to fix an infinite that either will never happen or the chances of it landing are so remote that theres really is no threat to casual player

@Raarzorz You can't honestly say that the same team was used over and over again. Wesker, Wolverine, Akuma, Taskmaster, Amaterasu, Phoenix, Tron, Haggar, She Hulk, Zero, Sentinel, Dante, Magneto, Spencer, Dormammu, Dr.Doom. We saw ALL these characters consistently at high level play and online play. It was so far from "the same team time and time again". Almost any team you make could win in MvC3 just look at MarlinPie, he took what people thought was a bottom tier character and still won.

@Raarzorz Well that sucks man. You could always try and make one yourself. The GB in London has a tournament for SSF4:AE on tuesdays and UMVC3 on Thursdays(I think). If you want to see them, you can always look for Armshouse on Justin TV or on youtube Hakf. It's a shame there's not a scene where you are. Hope this can help though.

Without seing the full fight I can only speculate, but my theory is that characters were only damage when they were doing assist so the game doesn't switch it's trigger for a perfect game to false. As evidence I would point out that before the characters are switched their life bar are full with health and red health, if character were damaged while on point they would be missing a chunk of health.

I have a request Desk. I played Tron all through Vanilla and enjoyed it, but they've nerfed a lot of Tron's moves making a sizable amount of the combos she performed in the previous game unavailable. I'm working hard on my end to learn new ones, but could a Tron combo video be too much to request?

I don't understand your question, are you wondering how to outplay people who zone and play keep-away? and I don't know why you can't do that spencer combo, maybe because these are quite advanced combos and honestly you sound more "beginner" from your question, start out with B&B's before trying something Extended, let alone THAT extended. Start simple :)
