Fun fact, in Athens Greece, when the arcades were introduced for the first time, instead of official they had locally made cabins that could exchange the games. And for some reason the stick was on the right hand instead of the left.... So there is whole generation of people who grew up playing this way. Even nowadays, when at the arcade l have to cross my arms as well, l need the stick to be on my right hand

Late reply, from what I was reading some of the modders were learning to input actual game models. That may be why they look so sharp.

@@KrimsonL It was, with the ruleset you needed at least 1 palette swap... so people just played a rando point with their real shell. Doom/Vergil winning left a bad taste. That the top 4 was filled with the likes of multiple Dooms, Vergil, Magneto, etc. was just disappointing. People have put in years of practice with their team from the OG roster. Even if a palette swap is stronger, odds are the player will perform better with their normal team unless palette swap tournaments become popular enough to warrant learning a new team.

It would have to be a point tournament to avoid endless Doom/Vergil/Morrigan (choose two) pairings, but it could work.

the armor on monster hunter's greatsword charge completely breaks the character lmao, Dobbi got to ignore 4 way mixups by spamming it. they need to make it vulnerable to lows and she'll be fine

This is strictly palate swap only. Harvenger host Clone engine tournaments which consist of both palate and original characters.

these mods are only on the pc version of umvc3, havengers recently posted a guide on youtube. as for tournaments, havengers does a weekly modded tournament (servers in us west), tns will do one every couple monthes give or take (us east). im not aware of any other modded marvel tournaments, if theres any more id like to know.
