Un SENER mejor | A better SENER - Interview with Jorge Unda and Jorge Sendagorta

En esta entrevista, Jorge Unda, CEO del grupo SENER (a la izquierda) y Jorge Sendagorta, presidente de SENER (a la derecha), hablan sobre el contexto actual que vive SENER.
'Los retos por delante son varios. Uno de los inmediatos es que TRYO se integre con la parte aeroespacial de SENER, se generen sinergias y que, del resultado de esa unión, uno más uno sea igual a tres. Esto es, el objetivo es lograr una posición destacada dentro del mundo aeroespacial superior a la que cada una de las partes tiene en este momento por separado. Buscamos crecimiento.
Cuando diseñamos un plan estratégico, lo hacemos a tres años vista porque es muy difícil prever lo que queda más allá. Nuestro caminar siempre debe de estar orientado por el gusto por la tecnología, por esa senda vamos a seguir. En nuestras personas, en su talento, compromiso y pasión por la ingeniería, la tecnología y el trabajo bien hecho reside nuestra mayor fuerza. Dentro de diez años SENER será diferente, más grande, pero sobre todo seremos mucho mejores que ahora'.

One of the most immediate ones is for TRYO to integrate within the aerospace sector of SENER, for synergies to be generated and, as a result of this union, for one plus one to make three. In other words, the aim is to gain a key position within the aerospace world, better than the one either of the parties currently has on its own. We are looking for growth.
When we design a strategic plan, we focus on the next three years, because it is very difficult to predict any further ahead. Our way forward must always be guided by our passion for technology, and this is the path we are going to follow. Our biggest asset lies in our people, in their talent, commitment and passion for engineering, technology and doing a good job. Within ten years SENER will be different, bigger, but above all we will be much better than now.'
