UNA FURTIVA LAGRIMA - maybe the most beautiful melody EVER arranged for guitar

Una furtiva lagrima (A secret tear) is a very famous opera aria by Gaetano Donizetti, an exquisitely beautiful melody full of emotion, made famous by many great tenor singers, Luciano Pavarotti for example. Ever since I first saw on TV a performance of L'elisir d'amore, the opera this aria is from, I've wanted to play Una furtiva lagrima on guitar. This arrangement is the result.

Thank you, Per! The sound is the product of a special guitar: it's a spruce/padouk guitar that I built in 2007. Very soft and mellow, but not a lot of brilliance. Suits certain pieces very well, I think, if you want to emphasize the softness and humaneness of the music.
