Una lacrima sul viso è una canzone composta da Mogol e Bobby Solo presentata al Festival di Sanremo 1964 nell'interpretazione dello stesso Bobby Solo, in abbinamento con il cantante statunitense Frankie Laine, che lo eseguì in inglese con il titolo For Your Love.
Durante la finale si verificò la prima esibizione in "playback" al Festival di Sanremo (seppure fuori gara) causata dalla laringite che affliggeva il cantante italiano. Concessione che fu criticata, perché in deroga del vigente regolamento.

Una lacrima sul viso (en français : Sur ton visage une larme) est une chanson composée par Mogol et Roberto Satti et chantée par Bobby Solo.
La chanson a été créée pour le quatorzième Festival de Sanremo, avec une double interprétation Bobby Solo / Frankie Laine, qui a enregistré une version anglaise de la chanson avec le titre « For your Love ». La chanson arrive en finale, mais Bobby Solo affecté par une laryngite est incapable de chanter et interprète celle-ci en play-back et est disqualifié.
Le single a atteint la première place pendant neuf semaines consécutives au hit-parade italien. Elle a été vendue à plus de trois millions d'exemplaires dans le monde.
La chanson a également inspiré un film musicarello du même nom réalisé par Ettore Maria Fizzarotti et joué par le même Bobby Solo et par Laura Efrikian.
La chanson a été reprise par d'autres artistes, dont Lucky Blondo, Richard Clayderman, Franck Pourcel, Achille Togliani, Claude Challe et Francis Goya. Elle a également été utilisée dans plusieurs films, notamment Barcelona de Whit Stillman, Quand j'étais chanteur de Xavier Giannoli et 5x2 de François Ozon.

"Una lacrima sul viso" (Italian for A Tear on your Face) is a song composed by Mogol and Bobby Solo and performed by Bobby Solo. The song premiered at the fourteenth Sanremo Music Festival, with a double performance by Solo and Frankie Laine, who proposed an English version of the song with the title "For Your Love". The song entered the final, but Solo was affected by laryngitis. Unable to sing live, he sang with playback, being subsequently disqualified.
The single peaked at first place for nine consecutive weeks on the Italian hit parade. It sold over three million copies worldwide.
Besides the famous cover by Frankie Laine as "For Your Love", the song was covered by several artists, including notably Achille Togliani, Claude Challe, and musical scores by Richard Clayderman, Franck Pourcel and Francis Goya.
