Sir mulching is not the same as you have told. The example you had given is called ratooning or the crop which grow from that root stocks left behind in the field is called ratoon cropping and is is common in sugarcane. But mulching is a process of covering of soil surface by straw, compost or plastic sheet to conserve soil moisture and also for pest management

there are so many voids and spaces in this vedio... being an agricultural graduate i found so many facts are not true...ex- you told desert soils are extremly productive but sir fertility and productivity are two different things and thus desert soils are fertile but not productive...similarly red soils are red becz of presence of ferrous ions..and many other facts...i dint see whole vedio...but after seeing first five minutes i cudnot resist myself from commenting sir...i am sorry for interuption :)

Hi, Thanks for the video. In the first slide you mentioned that 'every' type of soil lack NPK while describing laterite soil. But doesn't alluvial soil contain adequate amount of potash, phosphoric acid and lime. I think NCERT also says the same thing about alluvial soil. Correct me if I am wrong.
