Hey everyone. In this tutorial I'm actually using 1 mm Satin Nylon Cord. I inadvertantly said it was .8 mm cord. Although that thickness would also probably work. Enjoy! 🙂 Also, for my viewers who haven’t seen my previous tutorial where I talk about this shorter format…I’m still doing my regular long form videos where I talk to you face-to-face 🙂. This shorter format is just an addition to my regular programming. 🙂

This looks like a lot of fun to make. It reminds me of a project we did in our Brownie troop. I have the same beaf box, but the Unakite pendant and connectors are not pretty like yours. This is a beautiful bracelet you designed! I followed your tutorial but I cannot figure how to cut a 4mm x 3mm stainless steel curb chain. I’ve tried several wire cutters but they don’t work on stainless steel. Any suggestion you can give me would be appreciated.

Please do not use regular cutting pliers on stainless steel unless it’s very thin! You have to use memory wire cutters to prevent damage to your other pliers. Just do a google search for memory wire cutters and you should get some search results 🙂

Luisa - does your cord end tip have a little prong that "bites" into the cord when you press the flaps down? I'm looking thru Amazon and they have two diff types .. some have those prongs. ??

Yes they do. The little prong helps. Without the prong, it’s probably a good idea to use a bit of glue for extra security. Also some cords are smoother than others and may be more prone to slipping out. I’ll mention that in the next tutorial. 🙂
