He is trauma bonded. Her behavior is normal to him. He probably grew up like this. It's familiar to him. He acts like it's not a big deal. He feels like he deserves this behavior. She isn't even sorry, and he isn't even asking for an apology. If a man did the things she does that man would be in jail. Stop normalizing abuse just because she is a pretty woman with victim history. She said her last relationship she was verbally abused, she probably broke his windows and he yelled back, this guy is a doormat and let's her get away with violance. I was with you until you said she probably bust out her ex’s windows, and he probably yelled back, I on the other hand believe because she didn’t take the time to heal from her previous relationship, which may have caused her to become the abuser, and reactive out of survival and what she’s endured. Also, because didn’t heal she brought all that toxicity and trauma into her new relationship.

She didn't say he hit her just verbally abusive, but she can punch a guy and he still loved her. That means she already has and he didn't say anything to protect hus abuser. Narcissists play victim, I doubt any of her past relationships were physically abusive because if they were she would be scared to break stuff so she wouldn't get hit. I've been in abusive relationships too, I wouldn't dare get revenge bc dude hit me, but she isn't scared to break stuff.

I think he recognizes her crazy or bad moments and he is her rock. It isn't fair to him however he is in it for the long run. I'm happy to read that she has been working on it however it could be easier said vs done. Therapy is a beautiful thing. I wish them both the best and I hope he always remembered that he can walk away and not feel guilty about it. It's also possible that she did mellow out, heal from her trauma/hurt and became a better partner for him. =D
