Music rises as curtains open and the camera tracks into a room with a door, and the camera tracks into a room with a door, and the camera tracks into a room with a door, and the camera tracks into a room with a door, on and on into the infinitely nested boxes that are Room 23 on the second floor of Arkham Hotel.

Inspired by the fictional Book of Von Junzt, Unaussprechlichen Kulten by Robert E. Howard ?

That's right! Like most things from the stories it's been incorporated into the wider Cthulhu Mythos.

I love this, Graham. One of the most immersive track you have ever made! Can I find it on Spotify too?

Thank you Gianni! It's not on Spotify yet and will take a while to be as there's a delay with releases through CD Baby due to the pandemic. Will be a few weeks I think.

Yep. The German title came from August Derleth. Lovecraft asked him for a translation. Unaussprechlichen Kulten was Derleth's suggestion.

Make dark ambient soundscape is quite simple, more difficult is to create a piece of dark music like this one. Awesome sound design and composition

Okay, so I decides to not talk about the grammar error, but then this video decided to appear daily in my feed and now it bothers me too much. Please just ignore me.
@CthulhuMythosMusic4 жыл бұрын
I know! I felt it wasn't in my power to correct a grammar error that has been in place for around 80 years! I could of, but seems wrong not to include it exactly as originally written (and still written in the RPG to this day)!
@nophiontrollbringer6614 жыл бұрын
@@CthulhuMythosMusic I completely understand and you made the right choice. As said, I only wrote this to get it off my chest. Wrong german always hits me the wrong way, even though its obviously nitpicking

@@nophiontrollbringer661 You're right to stand up for proper German! Inspired me to add a little note to the vid description. I hope that's accurate at least!
