Some KZbin fans are so weird. Common sense evaded them. Just because you’re a fan that doesn’t mean you’re entitled to anything a content creator shows you on their platform. Like Cleetus said; there’s a time and a place. When you’re invited; that’s the appropriate time for you to show up. Otherwise respect his boundaries and his privacy!

imagine owning an airplane and still being stupid enough to land on random spots, that you most likely know are illegal to do so and will bother random people who live there and probably make them scared as hell... Florida must have no oversight on anything flying below those 20k feet. Id be scared of people being this stupid and having airplanes, sounds like someone could just slam a plane into any random spot in this state.. which is crazy

As a bridge inspector, I can tell you that plenty of counties in Tennessee use the bottom of a train car as a bridge. Counties with little to no budget do it all the time and it will clear a very large distance and have a steel base to drive heavy equipment across.

The trees, wilderness and wildlife is what give properties like this one their charm. Keeps privacy between properties and adds character to the property. ADS-B Exchange. You can play back to a certain point in a time and watch all the air traffic in the area and see who came and went and get the reg numbers. Pretty easy to do. Just remember it's Zulu time, not local. You can get the information and compare it to when people apply for authorization and then have a talk with them about it. It is interesting to watch you address all of the problems that owning a property with large improvements (airport, lake, open countryside, etc.). I built an airport’ on a ranch that I managed back in the Seventies. It was 2640’ by 75’ at 3200’ above sea level. It worked well for our aircraft. We had both fixed and rotary wing aircraft. Our problem was keeping people from making unauthorized landings and running all around the ranch. Our ranch was very private by design. The owner was quite wealthy and he didn’t want any unauthorized people on his property. My job was to keep them off among many other things. I marked the runway with large X’s making it a closed runway. That mostly stopped people from landing but occasionally someone would and say they didn’t understand what the large X was for. Normal BS. Good luck with your projects. Best Regards from an old man in his seventies.

@@Kyle1237 we did have to prosecute on two occasions. The first pilot landed in his Maule with two mini bikes in back. They unloaded them and started running them all over the ranch. The ranch had quite an extensive road system to enhance firefighting efforts. We rarely had fires, but we were prepared. So I watched this guy and his son running up and down the roads leaving gates open and chasing cattle and some of my horses. The other person taxed to our fuel trailer and filled up his Cessna 190 with our fuel. They also took the batteries from my Hughes 500 and pulled a couple of radios. I wasn’t at the ranch when this all took place but my security system paged my beeper to tell me something was up. I was about an hour away so all I could do was check the recordings of their actions. It is really easy to track down someone with their N number easily visible on their airplane. I called the boss and he was at Montgomery field getting into his Twin Bonanza when the Cessna 190 landed at the same field. He was informed by the tower of their location on the field and he quickly met them with San Diego’s finest. They were promptly arrested and their airplane was confiscated. They were convicted with all of our evidence and I really can’t remember what their penalty was. It was almost 50 years ago.

You can see the little one on the Cub's float between the struts that attach to the body.

I'm honestly not sure what the hell he's even going to be able to do with it. The NHRA is on record, they won't in any way support or allow a multi-seat Fuel car to make a pass because there aren't any specs that exist(SFI chassis specs, when you hear about a "25.2 chassis" or whatever, 25.2 is the SFI spec that that chassis is built to; these specs are for safety obviously) to build one to. That means no BMP because they're an NHRA track and would get in some big crap over it, potentially lose their NHRA membership. They already suspended Larry Dixon for running his 2 seat Fuel car without approval(and he lost the lawsuit too). So, quite the "interesting" gift, a potentially completely useless Top Fuel dragster(and, TBH, I can't even imagine how much the running costs would eat into their income, these things are so expensive to run)

@@tezzrterry7485 The other issue is that Cleet has an NHRA license that he needs to run basically single digit ETs at NHRA tracks(let alone 6s, and now with the goal of 5s). They could pull his license for running the 2 seater *anywhere* - just like they did originally to the Street Outlaws guys for their street racing. Maybe "he could sue over that!!!", but I seriously doubt he would want to spend the kind of money it would take to fight the NHRA(nevermind the fact that, even if you win, you probably aren't going to have the best relationship with them after that). The NHRA sucks and it sucks that they suck. But that is absolutely the kind of things they do.

Honestly I don’t even think it’s an FAA issue. The FAA controls airspace. The airport surface area is private property. It would be a local municipality issue, and the charge would be trespassing. It’s the same idea as if you landed a helicopter on someone’s property without permission and they filed a complaint. The FAA has nothing to do with that unless the act of landing itself was unsafe for whatever reason. Otherwise no FAA violation has been made.

Garret Mitchell!!!!!! You’re living the dream. Keep up the great content & be safe up in the skies. Hope you put up some videos on the upcoming house / hanger build. You need to get Heavy D out on that lake with his Pavati Wake/Surf boat. It would be fun to see both groups compete in a little friendly competition. Then bring in a professional to end the day/video.

Hey Cleeter, It looks like you've got a neat section of forest there! I know your main focus is on freedom and horsepower, but it would be cool to turn a section of that land into a little wildlife area, it would get you some real brownie points with the county, and help you preserve a bit of the awesome nature of Florida.

And I don't think ya'all should be going for a swim in that their pond. You know there's at least 1 gator in there.
