When I first began watching Kenyan KZbinrs, I was surprised to see the toilet and shower were in an open space, and the toilet was being doused with water when someone was taking a shower. I had never before seen that design of a bathroom and toilet. Now I see you're rectifying it Charlow to bring it in line with Western designs. It's costly but better.

Hello Charlow & Linet. I think the washing machine and solar are fine where they are. Adding more shelves in the pantry will solve the problem. The water bottles and large containers should be stored in your pantry and not the kitchen. Also, the extra storage shelves should be in your pantry. Also, I think the shower area in the guest bedroom is in an ok spot. You don't want to add unnecessary work. Good luck on getting your organization complete.

Linet and Charlow, there is a macthat you can use to clean your upholstery furniture. Also your carpet. It isa handheld one. Check at the stores that sell small appliances. Charlow, I slice the sides of my green bananas cook, not too soft, cool put in plastic Ziploc bags and put in the freezer, they last for months. When you are going to use, heat a pot of hot water put them in until thawed out. Take off the skin. I sometimes run them under water, scrape off the skin and put the frozen banana in the hot water. I have some in the freezer now.

Hi Charlow, I watch you almost daily but never comment. Your drapes are beautiful. Here is a suggestion: Try tying them up temporarily, which can help them hang better. By "training," the fabric will fall into even pleats and folds, especially if they are new or have been recently washed; this is done by tying them up in the desired position for a few days to allow the fabric to set in place.

Hej my pple charlow and linet i love the way you do your thing organized ,no pressure or show up .let me ask a funny question in Kenya to their no this paper we have in Europe when house building or renovation is going on the hired company cover everything you have in the house with that plast paper for dust .Then why do inner wall that divides rums have to be stone .I found its strange in Europe only outer wall the wall to divide the rooms are no permanent and are soft . anything somebody can move them . Kenya we need to advance.

But seriously, some contractors do use plastic sheets, but it's not a common practice-maybe we need to borrow that idea from Europe! As for the inner walls, here we love things permanent permanent 😂. Once a room is set, it’s not moving! But you're right, flexible walls would be a great idea for renovations and space adjustments. Kenya, are we ready for this upgrade? 🤔😅

It really doesn't matter about the shower being close to the window. In the U.S., a lot of bathrooms have no windows. As long as the room is insulated properly. The window will circulate air all through the room.
