16 years away from church and the Book of Mormon combined with humility brought be back to the church and the Lord. I was fortunate that Christ found me where I was and I finally understood how to see. He was always there but I was too prideful, full of anger and completely blinded.

This video kept popping up on my feed, and now I know why! There are no coincidences! Thank you, I’ve been struggling nearly all my life about being wanted. Your video today is a tender mercy to show me that God wants me and all of His children. Heavenly Father shows us that He truly loves us and wants us in beautifully personal ways! I can testify that that is true, in the sacred name of the Lord Jesus Christ, amen.

What a beautiful miracle! I work as a professional life coach and counselor. The work is particularly hard nowadays as there is much despair and darkness in these last days. One habit I use to bring light in is daily scripture study followed by journaling impressions afterwards. This morning God let me know that He can help me cast off the blanket of sadness from being weary in well doing. Then this story showed up in my KZbin feed (I follow a lot of inspiring channels but hadn't seen this one before). This story helped me feel God's love, light, and joy today. Just what I needed. Thank you.

Elder Wright, today, the Lord has given me a tender mercy! Your video came up randomly in my feed, but here's the thing~ I have been looking, for over 20 years to find my husband's missionaries! And today, I think I found you! So my husband's name is Tony, and I believe it was you, Elder Benson, an Elder Scott, and 3 other elders that contributed to his conversion. (Yes, he went through 3 sets of Elders, and when he was finally baptized, several were able to come back for his baptism.) So here's the story ~ my husband was a good man, but he wasn't happy with any of the religions that he had looked into (and he had looked a LOT). Once he got out of the military, (he was still single at this point), he decided to come to Twin Falls Idaho to get his education. (There is a story behind that as well). Anyway, his first day in college, he met a guy who was LDS and they decided to go to lunch together, got real brave and sat at a table full of girls, and subsequently met me. Since I was also LDS, and all of my friends were, we quickly took him in and invited him to church. I became his girlfriend, and began to encourage him to see the missionaries, but he told me, "I have no interest in missionaries, if you don't know enough about your own religion to teach me yourself, why would I want to be a part if it?" That was a scary eye opener to me, so I tried, but always felt inadequate. During this time, one of the friends we had made had a friend who came home early from her mission, (due to some issues) but she still felt the missionary "fire" so to speak, and decided that she would invite Tony to see the missionaries at her house. He thought I had set it up, (i actually didnt know about it at all) and not wanting to offend anyone, he decided to go ahead and go. Of course I went with him, but I actually fell asleep for almost the entire lesson. To my surprise, Tony said that although he had posed a dozen hard questions, the elders had answered almost everything and admitted they weren't sure about one thing, and he was interested, and wanted to see them again. From there on, he went through those 3 sets of missionaries, until an Elder Benson or Elder Scott (the big tall black guy that was the AP) finally got frustrated enough with Tony's indecision and clear reluctance to pray for the truth that the Elder just told him "Look, we've been over it and through it, today is the day, you're going to pray. It's now or never, man. " Tony put up some kind of "I'm uncomfortable, I don't know how to pray, I don't like being forced" thing, but that Elder held firm "it's now or never man, today is the day, it's now or never." Well, Tony knelt down and prayed, an of course, he immediately felt the truth of what he was being taught, and set his baptism date for 2 days before his birthday, and was baptized and confirmed! Another piece of the story ~ the evening before his baptism, he had fallen asleep at my apartment, and I was in making some dinner, and I heard these awful sounds coming from the couch. I went in there, and Tony was swiping and batting at the air around his head, screaming and groaning. I went and shook him awake and asked what was going on, and half asleep he said "demons, demons, they are trying to get me, they're trying to get me...aahhh..aahh!!" That was pretty scary, and we said a prayer, and he was able to wake up fully and the Lord helped it go away. Then early the morning he was supposed to be baptized, his father came from Washington to try to talk him out of it. But Tony held firm, because he knew this was the right truth he had been looking for for so long. Another piece of this story ~ and this part isn't over yet ~ because of this one baptism, my husband and I were sealed in the temple after 1 yr of Civil marriage, and our 5 children were born under the covenant. Not only that, but our 5 children have all received their own endowments, 2 of them have gone on missions, and 4 of them are sealed in the temple and raising our 14 grandchildren in the gospel as well. And the last one is waiting patiently for his missionary to return. But it doesn't even end there ~ since Tony was the very first of his entire family to ever join the church, we have been able to take several thousand of his deceased ancestors names to the temple, and because my kids were so diligent in doing this proxy baptismal work, they were the beginning of how the youth started to get to have extended recommends, and then it even evolved into the youth getting their own recommends to attend the temple. But it doesn't even stop there ~ my good husband (that guy that went through 3 sets of missionaries and refused to pray for a while) has now even served as a bishop up at BYUI, where we were able to interact with hundreds of amazing youth, and he was able to send off many many many missionaries himself! Elder Wright, I have been looking for you elders for a loooong time, so that you could see what a phenomenal thing could happen by listening to the spirit, and challenging a young man to get down and pray! Thank you sooo much, our family will love you elders for ever!! You have not only changed lives, but changed destinies. 🥰🥰🥰🥰💕💞💕💞🥰🥰🥰 Eta: Tony wants to know if you had a yellow sports car on the back of your tag that you sold to go on your mission.

OHMYGOSH what an AMAZING story you have to tell about Tony and your family! I am just in awe of what has happened for you guys in the last 33+ years! I don't have any words to express my gratitude and love for your family right now! THIS is why I'm doing my KZbin channel. I've never been into social media--if I ever GOT into it, my wife would laugh her head off, since I'm constantly telling her it's so satanic! Tongue-in-cheek of course :) So I met and married my wife Laura a year after I got home, became an orthodontist in CA, had 4 awesome kids (3 served missions with the last one out right now), 2 grandkids, and a lifetime of love for the Gospel and Jesus Christ. God is so good. Thank you again for getting in touch! Elder Benson and I were companions for like 6 months, and I was also with Elder Scott for a transfer or two. SUCH wonderful memories of my time in Twin Falls!!! -Chad Wright

@@chadwright1006 Tony thinks he's pretty sure that you were the Elder that baptized him and Elder Scott was the one that confirmed him. It's so awesome to hear that you have a beautiful family and grandchildren living for the Lord! Truly "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth" (John 1:4) I have to tell you that I've told all my kids about this awesome experience of finding one of my husband's missionaries, and my kids are STOKED! I imagine you'll have some comments on here from them as well. 🥰🥰 I'm telling you, we have, throughout our lives, prayed in gratefulness and asked the Lord to bless his missionaries and let them know how much we love them and owe so much to them! And here you are! So cool, full circle! 💞💞 Oh, and I binge-watched all of your videos today and I love all of them! Oh yeah and one other thing ~ my daughter married a Wright, and I just have to know if there is a relation. Do you have family out of Mackay Idaho, or any relation to a Rick or Richard Wright?

Thank you Chad for that beautiful testimony. I have a similar story about about when I let my scriptures fall open randomly and I received an answer to my prayer as if the Lord was speaking to me personally. I was going through a difficult divorce and found myself down to my last, hundred dollars in my account while I had been unemployed for three months, and was looking for a job. I went to the Gilbert temple and sat and prayed in the Celestial room. I asked the Lord: “Are you there? Are you aware of me? Help me get through this difficult time.” I let the scriptures fall open randomly, and as I look down and read the first scripture that I saw, I started to cry. I knew at that moment that the Lord was very aware of me as he is with all of us we are never alone , we are watched over. And he cares for us more than we know . So you know the story of Jesus, walking on the waters and saying to the disciples:” Be of good cheer. It is I. Be not afraid .” Well The scripture that it feel open to was in Doctrine and Covernants 68:6 which says: “ Wherefore be of good cheer and do not fear ,for I the Lord am with you and will stand by you. “ I felt like it was such a Tender Mercy and felt like the Savior was comforting me with that scripture. I can truly say Our Savior is very aware of us and loves us! I will never doubt again if he is aware of me. 😊💗

Elder Neal A Maxwell called it Divine Correlation. Elder Rasband calls it Divine Design. He taught - The Lord can move us like chess pieces, if we are open to promptings. Looking back, we can see His hand in our lives..... events and associations unfold in each of our lives that further God’s work on earth....... No trial or calamity can derail God’s plan of happiness. Indeed, by “divine design,” “joy cometh in the morning.” “I came into the world to do the will of [the] Father,” Jesus taught. Dear brothers and sisters, so have we........ The Lord is in the small details of our lives, and those incidents and opportunities are to prepare us to lift our families and others as we build the kingdom of God on earth. Remember, as the Lord said to Abraham, “I know the end from the beginning; therefore my hand shall be over thee.” Bringing your scriptures that day teaching Scott is a beautiful example along with the artist bringing her drawing to his baptism. Thanks for sharing this powerful experience.

@@TimSpangler-v9iThe Bible lays it out plainly - faith in Jesus Christ, repentance, baptism by immersion for the remission of sins, the layng on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost by those who have God's authority, being faithful for the rest of our lives. My question to you is this: why don't the 40,000 different Christian denominations believe and practice these things? That's beside the point, though. The man is sharing an experience that he had with 2 others. You don't have to believe it. Your unbelief doesn't change what happened and it doesn't change the truth. In the mouth of 2 or 3 witnesses shall every word be established. Paul said to not cause strife or divisions and Jesus said to be peacemakers. So if you believe the Bible, be nice.

@@TimSpangler-v9iActs 2:36-44 It truly is by his grace through faith that we are saved, know that everyone must have faith in Jesus Christ and repent of all their sins and be baptised by one having authority and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost and endure in faithfulness to the end. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day saints is built on the foundation of living apostles and prophets with Jesus Christ being the chief cornerstone. It is a church authorised by the resurrected Lord Jesus and he is revealing Gods plan and purposes to mankind! I’m just sad and sorrowful for those that think that God is God that “spake” and is not speaking. One day we will see his divine design and divine tutoring with each of His children. It’s like there are those that say we have enough revelations from our Heavenly Father and there can be no more revelations, or we have enough light and there cannot be any more light. I glory in the Atonement, why, because it has changed my heart, my mind, my life, I’ve experienced it and nowone can tell me otherwise! In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints there is a pathway laid before us where we can fully apply the Atonement if we are faithful. I know that Jesus is the Christ and that His way is the most glorious and joyful way. The Gospel is meant to be incredibly simple.

@@chadwright1006 I'm not saying you're making any of it up. I am saying that your "experience" is irrelevant to reality. You experienced a series of events that you deem unlikely or improbable and, not inconveniently, attribute them to your particular deity. Not just A deity or ANY deity but the LDS version of a deity. Out of the thousands of gods that are now, or have once been, in perfectly good standing, this series of events proves your chosen faith. Pretty convenient isn't it? If a Muslim shared a similar series of events, would you convert to Islam? I doubt it. If a Hindu experienced the same thing and told you about it, would you suddenly conclude that Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiv must surely be real because the individual had "experienced" something? Of course not. Improbability is not evidence of anything. What you are saying is, "I can't explain this, therefore; God and not just any god but the LDS god." I'm not buying it.

@@Flintlock1776 it wasn’t just a series of impossibly unlikely events. It was a series of impossibly unlikely events that were miraculously connected to each other, and were straight out of the pages of the Book of Mormon. You may think whatever you want. But to both my spiritual senses (had you been in the room you would understand 100% what I am talking about), and to my logical, rational mind, there is no way for it to have occurred as it did unless 1) God is real and showed His hand by leading Scott and me through all the miraculous parts of the experience, and 2) He (God) used the Book of Mormon to show every miracle on those two days. Unless you were there and observed and experienced all of it, you have no idea what you are talking about. Prior to this experience, Scott had seen MANY evidences that we taught the truth. And yet he STILL didn’t believe it. Kind of like people such as yourself. When HE (an unbeliever) witnessed the whole thing, HE knew he couldn’t deny it. He chose to follow through with a decision to accept baptism, and AFTER he showed his faith by accepting baptism, God ONCE AGAIN, proved His word by sending the artist to the baptism with NO known reason to bring her artwork of months ago, and when she heard Scott’s testimony of his experience being miraculously converted by a single verse out of over 10,000 verses on the Book of Mormon, she looked down at her drawing of the very same verse she had been inspired to bring there and by showing it to Scott and myself, proved God’s acceptance of what had happened to Scott. Mark 16:17 says signs shall follow belief. Scott chose to believe and received one heck of a sign. You are free to NOT choose to believe it. But by doing so you’ll get no sign. Sorry.

@@chadwright1006 The thing is, nobody is perfect, and Jesus came to save imperfect people. I absolutely believe that. It's what the gospel teaches. But that's not what Mormonism teaches. In D&C 58:42-43 it says, "Behold, he who has repented of his sins, the same is forgiven, and I, the Lord, remember them no more. By this ye may know if a man repenteth of his sins -- behold, he will confess them and forsake them." But nobody is perfect.

Out of the church for 3 years now having been driven out by three leaders who in order to protect their own egos saw fit to remove me from the position wherein I was serving. The reason? I stood up to protect the youth from these men who decided that it was a great idea to have an LGBTQ speaker address the youth to instill in them woke ideals. I attended the fireside, and it was as I had feared. A woke symposium bordering on a recruitment rally at times. The LGBTQ cause and movement were promoted. The cause of Christ? Not so much as He was mentioned in passing....mostly in the opening and closing prayers. Stay strong members! Even your inspired leaders are falling victim to this woke nonsense.

Mike what you experienced was NOT the Church. It was a few misguided and confused individuals who made poor decisions. The Gospel is true and only through the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints can we have the ordinances of Salvation administered. Hold on to your covenants and the core doctrines of the Church and know that you don’t have to accept the new woke confusion to hold and use a Temple Recommend. Jesus Christ loves every single son and daughter of God. He does not condone sin in any form. He accepts us as we ARE, and leads us to become BETTER through lovingly encouraging us to align our wills to His.

Polygamy issues are a big deal just like the Priesthood ban. Maybe it doesn’t matter for some but it does for many many people. We shouldn’t minimize people’s pain. I do believe the church has the Restored truth but it’s very messy because of extremely imperfect people. 💗
@chadwright1006

You are so right that these issues (and others!) are huge challenges for some. Maybe even MOST. You are also so right that God uses imperfect mortals to move His work forward, which may lead to decisions that can be seen as stumbling blocks to many people. But the PRINCIPLES of Christ’s Gospel: Faith, repentance, revelation, prophetic leadership, the need for Priesthood keys and authority, making and keeping sacred covenants, Eternal progression, etc., are unchanging. Through the messiness of mortals doing God’s work, these Eternal Truths are the bedrock that binds His Covenant People to Him. It has always, and WILL always require FAITH to follow Christ’s living prophet. And if literally EVERYTHING made perfect sense to EVERYONE, joining with Christ’s Church wouldn’t take an ounce of faith and EVERYONE would logically find themselves members. There MUST be opposition, and if the opposition isn’t people yelling and screaming that we’re stupid for believing, then it of necessity will be something like policies or history that don’t make “sense” to what our pre-conceived ideas of what is right and what is wrong are. Belief and acceptance of the Gospel MUST require faith, or the decision to do so has NO VALUE to God. It wouldn’t stretch us.

Ah, just like the early Christian church fathers in the first and second centuries AD (Origen, etc.)? Look up Deification. It was when men started deciding what was “acceptable” doctrine, and arguing and voting on it in the Councils in the 4th and 5th centuries that much of the early teachings were changed and lost.

When you seek answers from the Book of Mormon instead of the Bible, God can't help you because you have turned your back on Him. Therefore this leaves the door open for Satan (II Corinthians 11:14-15) to step into your life with a false christ or prophet showing you signs and wonders to lead you away from the real Jesus of the Bible who is God the Son 2nd person of the Trinity. God Himself warns us about this in: MATTHEW 24:23-24 "Then if anyone says to you, Look, here is the Christ! or There! do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect..." Mormons teach and believe that their jesus is the brother of Satan, which contradicts what God says in His Bible that Jesus is God the Son 2nd person of the Trinity. So Mormons, which Jesus do you believe in? A. Your jesus of the Book of Mormon, who is the brother of Satan. OR B. The Jesus of the Bible, who is God the Son 2nd person of the Trinity.

Albert do you really think it is effective to criticize another person's beliefs? Every video Chad has made has been good and spiritual. There has been nothing wicked about the content. Also being a Christian isn't about dividing. It's more personal and it's about all of us. We are all fallen and we need to search for redemption and peace. Isn't this what we ought to do? I have found through experience that being critical of other's beliefs does nothing. Focus on your salvation and let's all be more like Jesus and love one another. Life is short.
@AlbertJLouie

@joshuakelly9788 First, God gives us all the right to question anyone/church claiming to be of God. I JOHN 4:1 "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world..." The Mormon church doesn't like to be tested because there isn't any shred of Biblical and academic evidence to support any stories that is in the Book of Mormon. For example: Mormons teach that the angel Moroni came down from heaven and gave Joseph Smith the Book of Mormon. Let's hear what God Himself says about this in: GALATIANS 1:6-9 "I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who CALLED you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed..." There you are, God Himself telling you that He did not send any angel from heaven to Joseph Smith. Next, the lack of academic evidence for the Book of Mormon: There is no archeological evidence anywhere on this earth to support anything in the Book of Mormon. Therefore, by Biblical and academic evidence, Joseph Smith is considered as a false prophet and the Book of Mormon is considered by God as false doctrine.

I don’t because of those who come here with open hearts and a willingness to be taught by the spirit. The negativity and complete lack of unconditional love of Christ shown by a few on here-contrasted with the meekness and inviting spirit of so many others makes everything pretty clear. Carry on!!
