My grandmom taught me that, using ice trays, you can freeze eggs. Egg laying season is coming to a slow down & eggs will be going up soon.Let them thaw - they can be used for everything including baking.

Spaetzle is pronounced ' SPAT - SUL.' Germans call themselves Deutsche which means German. It is pronounced ' DOY - CHUH' like Deutsche Bank. The word ' Kucha' is pronounced ' Coo - Cha.' The word 'frangipane' is pronounced 'FRAN - JUH - PAIN.' It is a spreadable paste made from almond flour, sugar, eggs and almond extract. Aldi was founded by the Albrecht family in Germany so that is the reason for the German items and names throughout the store.

We have 5 kids 12 grand kids and 3 great grands but we shop for 2 as we are EMPTY NESTERS too...But we also have a large deep freezer so we freeze a lot...we freeze extra milks oj bread bacon ground meats steaks chicken hot dogs roasts.lunch meats...muffins, chocolates grapes strawberries,a lot of food keeps just fine...

I have tried Aldi frozen California Rolls. You just let them thaw for a little bit. They taste fresh and they're delicious!

Stay away from the chocolate Bundt cake. It is yummy moist and not too sweet but very easy to eat quickly. Great price $4.99. The pretzel sticks are really good😊.

I miss Brachs candy, I've been wanting their hard candy for a couple weeks now. I love their conversation hearts, the ones with the raised letters. I found them at Woodman's, pre pandemic, I think. They were out again the following year.
