Know what you mean. Seen several videos when parents push their terrified kids to stand right next to the horse for a photo, if they try to move away they push them back. Should have social services child protection on their tails. Another video had African nursery teaching assistant pick up a little white girl and took her to the horses face, the little girl was only around 3yrs old and was wriggling to be put down, the stupid woman tightened her grip until a passing lady told her off. Had that teacher done that to my great grand daughter she'd be on first plane back to Africa. They should'nt bd allowed to touch other people's children in dangerous situations like that. Even the Guard glared at the woman but smiled gently at the little girl. I hope the parents were told about that woman and she was sacked? Poor little thing was sobbing, likely never been so close to a big powerful horse in hef life and some stupid foreign teacher practically throws her in the horses face. As for anyone bring sued in the video I've just mentioned it would have been that stupid woman who picked their child up without permission, neither the Guard or the horse to blame, the parents would have seen that when they watched it. The Guard controlled his horse extremely well and the horse sensed the small child was scared. Never seen one so much as harm an infant. It's the parents or teachers in charge to blame, no one elses fault. In their desperation to be noticed they ignored their scared children to make themselves look good. Case of "Oh, look at me, I'm SO special, I forced my terrified children to stand next to a huge, powerful horse, are'nt I clever?" Can imagine them showing their snaps back home to family, friends and neighbours, and seeing children with terrified expressions staring back at them from the photo while stupid parents are grinning and saying it was just a laugh. Should call in CPS for those narcissistic clowns?

Wish people would do some basic research before jumping on the bandwagon about the bits and animal abuse. Pretty easy to find out with Google. These horses are well cared for and much loved. The bridle has one bit with 2 sets of reins; the upper is attached to the ends of the bit, the lower in the upper of 2 slots in the shank. They don't use harsh bits like you see in Spain for instance. This Artillery bridle is slightly different to the Cavalry version bit both are single bits.
@Solitude11-1110 ай бұрын
These use a Liverpool bit, as you say a single bit, the cavalry use a double bridle with a snaffle and curb, two bits.
@Sharon-bo2se10 ай бұрын
@@Solitude11-11 thanks for the name of the bit. I see it is a driving bit with several variations. Makes sense given they are driving the lighter gun carriages. Interesting. Now I am curious what the actual bit style/s are in use. The Cavalry bridle that I've seen only has the single bit in the mouth with the two sets of reins and a chain. Some views seem to show a roller midway. Not a full double bridle as in other applications but the long shank can give firmer control if needed. The bits I've seen have been straight w/o the high port. Would like to get a closer look at what variations they use depending upon the horse. Definitely neither are not like the harsh Spanish and other bridles.

You could see the gentleman in the orange shirt right before 13 min grab the reings...immediately apologize and after pic is taken thx the guard and apologized again. ... why cant everyone do that if they get too close ? At least thank the guard.. .

That's the firs time I've seen that. A horse that doesn't want to leave.

These horses look smaller and finer than the Blues and Royals and Kings Life Guard horses.
@Roheryn10010 ай бұрын
They are smaller but actually chunkier, as they pull guns.

I find it interesting how the 3 groups do the change of guard slightly differently.

Can someone explain the different color horses and regiments. Are these the Royal Artillery uniform and horses. I've seen the other Royal Guard with black horses, and is there a reason why? Like do the brown horses are more used for pulling heavy equipment like cannon, and are the black horses more stamina for charging used by the cavalry? Etc. What is the significance and also why the red, white or gold I think it's hair tufts on the helmets? Also noticed that there are many more females in the artillery uniforms.

Some horse doesn't like the bit in it's mouth so they play with it and the horse must get sick of everyone keeps touching them🐴 They must be times there getting bored Would you like to stand still same spot for 2 hour 💂💂♀️🐴i don't think anyone would like that.The horse's are fantastic and it's not an easy job they do but they all look fantastic and not to forget about the guards 💂♀️💂that have to work extremely very long hours every day and for all the hard training that they have to do before they can start to protect king Charles👑 and prince William🤴and Princess Catherine👸 and everything else they have to do🐴 I would like to say well done and thank you keep the good work up 💂💂♀️🐴

All tourists coming here, should be strongly advised to Please don't touch Reins or bridle, and explain why. Many people apologize when Guards tell them. It just might stop some Embarrassment and the Irritation of constantly having to tourists hands on these wonderful horses.🇬🇧🐎

Yes people shouldn’t grab the horses reins, but at the same time there should be signage like don’t grab the reins.
@marywood627010 ай бұрын
You sometimes hear tour guides tell their groups not to touch the reins.
@blockerhall453210 ай бұрын
Well that helps but signage is better imho
