Even more charges when the exact method of cheating is pinned down since pretty much every possible method includes either unauthorized tech access (aka a hacking charge) or further fraud. Cheating at a casino is very much illegal regardless of what game you are playing.

Doug, Joe: I played at Stones Live on May 29th. I specifically remember players on the table yelling at Postle (who was sitting at the bar across the room) to come play the live feed but he refused to which seemed odd to some of the players. OBVIOUSLY his inside contact/staff person (responsible for feeding him info) wasn’t present or available that particular evening. It’d be good to investigate WHO was on staff on days where he played vs WHO WASN’T the Live nights he didn’t if we want to identity his inside man.

At Crown Melb a few years ago now, A group rented a room and were able to 'hack' a number of camera's and feeds, and then use this info to support high rolling poker players at tables. So not necessarily staff or an insider.

I once bumped into Doug at aria. While I’m a huge fan I wanted to play it cool. he walked past me into the back area where he was probably playing a tournament. I went to play my daily 1pm deepstack, all the whole watching Doug talk to various people, always with a smile on his face. Engaging his fans.. maybe he could engage me? This is what was coursing through my mind as I contemplated my opening comment to him. Would I walk up to my hero and tell him that his poker analysis took me to a place of depth and warmth? Yes. It was time. I stood up from my seat, fully ready to miss at least one full orbit of blinds in exchange for my moment. I walked across the poker floor to talk to Doug, when suddenly jean Robert bellanda came out of the back room shaking his head in what seemed to be obvious frustration with a recent poker hand. The choice was clear. I followed jean Robert into the restroom and took a piss two stalls away from him. My only regret is that no eye contact was made. Thank you all for reading and I truly hope it brought joy into your life.

It's funny U mention that. The closest controversy that comes close to this I can think of, is the 1950s quiz show scandal involving the $64,000 question, which almost killed game shows altogether. Obviously, this controversy isn't going to just blow over anytime soon. As I mentioned earlier this made Sportscenter.

sstheg the closest to this situation was PotRipper on ultimate bet. But this guy has an even higher bb/hr win rate but we’re supposed to believe nothing happened lol. This casino should be shamed for ignoring the prior complaints, the standard luck deviations are literally impossible by any standards and actually the most damning evidence. Can’t wait to see how they try and spin this investigation or how they can find nothing this time. Any player worth a salt probably won’t play there until this is sorted out and publicly acknowledged.

@@alexburke1899 I was trying to convey by the scandal closest to this was the potential magnitude the scandal could have carried. With the quiz show analogy (Correction: it was the show Twenty-One that had the scandal), that could've put the network in jeopardy and ruined the reputation for quiz/game shows altogether. Also the 1919 black sox scandal, almost ruined the game of baseball. The UB PotRipper scandal was huge yes, but the government had a hard on for online poker to begin with prior to UB, when they passed the UIGEA in '06.

That’s why it’s frustrating to hear they ignored previous suspicious reports and did a possibly poor or bias investigation. ALYSHADEZ Running theory is he has a device in his lap that is getting a data feed from the program the Stones are using to stream the game, and this data feed he’s looking down at in his lap is telling him what cards everyone else has. Allegedly. Right before he raises the river with one of the worst hands he could possibly have only to win because in a very unlikely twist the other guy has an even worse hand you can see him look in his lap and then cover it up with his arms. I'm stealing someone else's thunder here but it's a great point from a post in a different video. As a whole when you review all the hands played how does anybody playing this game get to bets where it's playing for stacks and NOT ONCE that I have seen does Mike ask for a chip count. You have AAAA or Straight Flush or a Nut hand OK but non-nut hands most people ask for chip counts fairly often before calling a shove or putting someone else's stack to the test. Even mid-hand players often ask "What do you have behind?" Mike asking for chip counts is rare and possibly non-existent. Really weird.
