I feel for you Mumma, anything near the eyes is scary. My now 8 year old had peri-orbital celulitis when she was just 6, which is a medical way of saying an infection in her eye area. Her sinus leaked into the eye socket area. Not fun and very scary.

My son got bit on the eye on his birthday i took him into the e.r because not even five minutes after he got bit his eye swelled closed so i took him in to the e.r and they told me that he is severely allergic to mosquitoes that it was a mosquito bit that caused his eye to swell up and close his eye and it was closed for 3 days and my aunt thought it was something more then a bug bit until i told her i took him to the e.r and thats what the doctors told me they also said it would for sure look worse before it got better
